Humm good coach huh, what about this little issue with him not reporting a hazing issue to the principle or superindent? If what has happened is investigated further he very well will be gone from LG as well as possibly lose his teaching license. I know two boys are in big trouble bc of what happened. Thank you to the teacher who heard kids talking about it in the hallway. I saw a news crew at the superintendent's office this afternoon. I'm just curious if The superindent and the police will do anything about it or not, if not I hope the state will. Also there is no reason to expect the team to do well with leadership like that, and when the city council is not wanting to better this small town. Take a look around people. This town is dying and it breaks my heart because its my home, but I've noticed that we are in a downward spiral and losing businesses. I know a lot of people will be upset with me, but I know a couple of students who have suffered from this hazing and from some of the hazers parents. They really do try to be hollier than though, when they aren't by far. Grow up accept responsibility for your action in life.

Im really not surprised. The coaches dont seem to have any control over the students (or dont want any). The administrators dont seem to have any control over the coaches either. I knew this was going to happen because of things i have been hearing about football. Its just not on the HS level either!Cash needs to make clear this will not be tolerated. Im so sad that this could have been prevented if administrators listened to the students and parents.

It is quite sad at the things that go on in our schools today but I can't help but wonder if we as parents somewhat to blame for it.....it seems like that intiation stuff been around for years however it's seems it's got worse over time which I believe we have to take some blame as parents for trying to say its ok when it isn't times have changed but lets stop covering up our little secrets and do something about it

WHERE were the coaches??? The boys were lifting weights, WHY are they allowed to do this unsupervised?

If I were the parents of the victims I'd ask this, if they haven't already.

As an alum of this school i am disturbed by this. As a freshman i was blessed with a very good group of seniors that considered us TEAMMATES not freshmen. We remembered this when we became seniors. I can now see a seperation between "players" and "subs", and athletics and administration. I also see a lot of finger pointing going on, but everybody is to blame. The freshmen class should have stood up for each other, the upper classmen should have put a stop to it,the coach should have been around to stop it since he does not teach ( if i am wrong i apologize). Who raises these kids to act this way? I have watched this town spiral downhill for years and no one person can take the blame. I see alot of good athletes not play because their parents don't make enough money or they were not popular in school or have not slept with the right coach to get them playing time. People of LG need to realize they are no better than the person next ot them and nothing will change until all citizens can band together to help the town. This happens in all levels from Seniors down to Little League and all sports so do not think i am not talking about you.

Only someone blowing the coach would be so supportive of him in this situation. He failed, miserably. You don't leave teens unattended while lifting weights. Accidents happen and in this case, hazing.

Nice attempt at taking the heat off of him though by being "supportive" of your community.

I have been there since the start of the season I know exactly what happened you don't and I have heard on several occasions the coach tell kids that it's not tolerated and there is great leadership on this team it was actually 2 kids who took it a little to far 2 that's it so you need to get your facts straight or don't comment
