Are you just ignorant? Most of your postings have been negative against District 228. You are entitled you to your opinion. More than likely you had a problem with one of the schools and you didn't get your way, so now you whine. You do realize the agenda you posted IS NOT for District 228 don't you.

They are one and the same. I have no problem with them, but I believe their actions should be more visible. This is the public's business and they are wasting the public's money that should go for education not lawyers.

You are absolutely correct? Why isn't there? Is it because of their lobbying group? I will agree several decades ago things were bad for the teachers, but measures were put in place for them to catch up to the rest of the working class people, only thing is, it never stopped. Raises just for showing up? Raises on top of that for being there another year? Working 185 days a year? Out of an 8 hour day, how much is actually spent teaching?

There should be a law that teachers are not allowed to strike. Police, fire, public trans, air traffic controllers etc... are never allowed to strike and are forced back to work. Same should go for publicly paid teachers!

This school's Sun-Times rank is 250 among 689 ranked high schools.

Standings such as this worthy of double digit raises?
Enuff fundraising and teach the kids...save me a few bucks by closing the doors once in a while

Moving doesn't solve the problem. This April we can elect a responsible school board to put this district on a path to educating our kids to a world class level. Not just pushing them through the system.
