Do the math.

300+ routes every day.

They pick up the kids twice a day = 600 pick ups a day.

600 pick ups a day times 180 days per year = about 100,000 pick ups a year.

And because a single bus was late one time some parent calls the Asbury Park Press to make sure it gets in the paper.

Who the heck calls the paper over a late school bus?

The headline should have been "Middletown's School Bus Services Are Doing A Great Job".
