El Paso teen killed Monday night was Andress High student

An El Paso Independent School District spokeswoman confirmed that the 17-year-old boy killed Monday night in a Northeast neighborhood was an Andress High School student.

With your attitude It is a wonder that more are not shot to hell and gone from your school. The way to beat the gangs is to stop joining them or allowing your friends from joining. You guys need to report alleged gang membership to the schools and the police. You guys need to stop dressing the part of gang bangers and throwing signs. Learn the hard way as your friend did or turn you life around.

I am turning my life around. I am fixing to join the service this summer. I already passed by test and am waiting to get my uniform. The service has turned a lot of boys into men and I plan to be one of them, maybe not exactly like Audie Murphy, but at least someone who can get the job done. Thanks for your sage advice.
