I feel things are getting out of control. This child only brought a clear plastic toy gun which in no way could be mistaken for a weapon. This child should not be punished at all. Stop picking on children and go after the company that made the toy gun and the company that sold the toy gun. Punishing this kindergarten child could cause problems for her for the rest of her life. If she shows out later in life you can be sure this was the starting of all her problems. I worked in a school district for over 30 years and feel that I know that there have to be strict rules but this is going too far and is destroying one of our precious children. Please take a second look at this try to do right by this child.
