The Lake of Fire awaits those who believe they have no purpose. Those who are educated beyond their capacity to believe that we are no more than evolved pond scum. Those who have convinced themselves that it is better to seek thyself rather than love thy neighbour. Are you one of these people?, that is between you and your creator, and if you do not have one, what can you possibly hope or expect to receive other than a crushing black hole somewhere in the distant future from which nothing can escape.

It's still right where it was... We have been slamming particles together for over half a century.. There were a very few that thought a microscopic black hole could form but I didn't... As you might have figured out if you actually read my postulate I have a different view of the physical universe from consensus... I think it's not what we perceive it to be... It is far simpler... And I can count one prediction I made as being verified and second prediction that was just given a theoretical thumbs up when a paper was produced showing that it may be possible to exceed c without infinite energy as stated in the Einstein solution for inertial mass energy conversion... I contend that exceeding the value of c requires almost no energy, The only energy required is that needed to act in opposition to gravitational well of a quantum connected inertial mass object causing it to become massless relative to all other matter in the universe...

Where does the bible say that?

kjv revelation 21;8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. O ye with no purpose shall taste not life but death in a crushing black hole.

Lol, reminds me of the story, a man was killed when his woman, rolled onto him in the middle of the night.

<quoted text> What drives you to study all this to the point that you have? Do you feel that in some way you may attain immortality through it all? If not why would someone work so hard to understand something as complex as all that is if it's only temperary and only fulfills the very few who have the ability to understand it and the time to study and learn it all in the first place, not to mention being able to afford it. All in the Name of "We have no purpose Here".
It's very simple... I like it... I have a desire to learn anything about anything I can.... I want to know how everything in the universe works... And who the heck said we have no purpose here, Not I... Our purpose, in my view, is survival of the species... That can only happen if we gain knowledge and find a way off this tiny ball of rock and water.... Humanity will end if we are forever stuck here... Even moving a small colony to a planet as close as Mars increases the survivability of humanity many fold.. Sooner or later this rock will be smacked by another rock, sooner or later this rock will burb and evolution will reset... It has happened 12 times in the past where from 75% to 90% of all life was wiped and what was left had to go forth and multiply... But a few hundred survivors to re-seed could be a major jump start on keeping Humanity alive...

Individually we set our own individual purposes, Mine is to learn all I can about everything I can for as long as I can and pass it along in case someone in the future might find it useful... And to take some pretty pictures and enjoy my life to it's fullest while doing the right things when no one is looking... As a Species We have the purpose of surviving and evolving to the point that we can spread out and survive a violent universe....

I can agree with most of this, especially the first bits about roads and libraries and education. I would personally add that all healthcare should be funded through tax dollars via a universal system.

But I would be very cautious about advocating a simple majority rules voting system. At any given time the majority of Americans are likely to believe in strange things and have dangerous ideas about how to treat the minority of Americans.

Veterans’ Jobs Bill Blocked in the Senate By Republicans

Veterans’ Jobs Bill Blocked in the Senate
By JENNIFER STEINHAUER
Eager to shoot down President Obama’s legislative agenda just weeks
before the election, Senate Republicans on Wednesday blocked a measure
that would have provided $1 billion over five years to help veterans
find work in their communities.

The measure, which would have potentially created jobs for up to
20,000 veterans, was blocked on a procedural point by Republicans, who
argued that the bill was unpaid for. Senator Patty Murray, a
Washington Democrat and the bill’s main sponsor, said the bill would
have covered the costs in part with fees on Medicare providers and
suppliers who are delinquent on their tax bills.

The procedural vote was 58 to 40; 60 votes would have been required to
waive Republican objections.

The bill was opposed, by, among others, Senator Tom Coburn, Republican
of Oklahoma, who said he believed the bill duplicated existing job
programs for veterans that are not well run, and Senator Rand Paul,
Republican of Kentucky, who has been seeking amendments on bills that
would cut off funding to Egypt and to Pakistan until Pakistan freed
Shakil Afridi, the doctor who helped the United States find Osama bin
Laden.

“It’s both shocking and shameful that Republicans today chose to kill
a bill to put America’s veterans back to work,” Ms. Murray said in a
statement.

“At a time when one in four young veterans are unemployed,” she said,
“Republicans should have been able, for just this once, to put aside
the politics of obstruction and to help these men and women provide
for their families.”

She added that the vote was “stark reminder” that Mitch McConnell,
Senate minority leader from Kentucky, and Senate Republicans “are
willing to do absolutely anything to fulfill the pledge he made nearly
two years ago to defeat President Obama. It doesn’t matter who gets in
their way or which Americans they have to sacrifice in that pursuit,
even if it’s our nation’s veterans.”

Some Republicans, five of whom voted for the bill, also seemed
disappointed about the failure of legislation that had the veneer of
bipartisan support.“These men and women have worn our uniform,
shouldered the burden and faced unthinkable dangers in forward areas
during a very dangerous time,” Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska said.

I found this challenge interesting. Fox News is not a trustworthy news source mainly because they have an overtly right wing bias yet they claim not to. When your network puts out 24 hours of Conservative opinion day after day with a little news peppered here and there it is difficult to swallow the idea that it is "fair and balanced".
But the idea that they "lie" is probably not quite right all the time. Instead, they exaggerate and confuse. For example, if you Google "fox news lies" you get a website devoted to pointing out instances of "lies". Here's an example:
http://foxnewslies.net/...
"During a segment on the Fox News late night program Red Eye, Fox News Contributor (and former Bush White House mouthpiece) Dana Perino made the false claim that ABC’s Diane Sawyer had asked Gov. Mitt Romney about putting his dog Seamus on the roof of his car.“That was her first question,” Perino claimed....According to a transcript of the interview, the question about Seamus was the 23rd one asked."
Now personally I think Perino was simply exaggerating to make it seem like Sawyer was frivolous. But clearly the dog question was not the first one asked.
It's a silly little example, but this stuff adds up.
And here's a nice YouTube clip splicing together segments by Glen Beck (commentary) and Chris Wallace (news). It demonstrates that the "news" segments on Fox News are peppered with political commentary and opinion.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v =IGIkSmvS9SoXX
I'm sure Fox News has news that is correct and useful. But the way they sandwich everything between political blowhards is unpalatable to me and raises very real, well founded suspicions that it is less about news and more about selling me something I'm not interested in buying.
Red Eye is a Comedy Show, Would be like taking John Stewards comments as subject matter for Fact Checking by hoards of lawyers.. And Yes Fox has a Right leaning Political punditry, MSNBC,NBC,ABC,PBS have a Left leaning Political punditry... Both sets exaggerate a bit but I would say that Fox has a far larger number of Left guests when group discussions happen than the Left leaning broadcast outlets... They have speakers as Leftest as Communist, socialist leaders, democratic congressmen and women, Islamic radicals, Womens Org speakers, Religious fanatics, ect... Several programs have openly asked that Obama come in and answer questions, several of his exec officials have been asked to appear and except for a couple, they refuse...

But as I look about at the Fox News Lies sites I see a hand full of claimed Lies that are minor details of little or no value and disregarding the 1000's upon 1000's of comments that are absolutely factual with supplied information that anyone can validate.

You tube had a dozen vid's posted just screaming because a program said that I Phone 5 had a holographic key board... I all those site there is a hand full of Claims that are of little to no import yet I never hear anyone on the left making mention of the Memogate that Rather tried to pull off and Rather is still thought of as a great journalist... I can go through Maddow, Mathews and a dozen other assorted speakers on other networks that are given passes on the left.... On far more Important Lies... than adding a few words to a statement on a comedy show...

I would say for straight News CNN is the most unbiased outlet and their ratings remain good... But Fox is a good source of factual information with as accurate straight news division as CNN and a broader range of opinions than any of the other outlets...

I admit I did watch foxnews alot but it was mostly just to check out the foxy ladies in their shorts shirts and great legs. Yes, the ladies like to show off their panties during the show. Fox did get complaints from the quite a few of the women I worked with and hardly any of the men.

Forgive me Lord, for I have sinned watching foxnews.

Foxnews put on quite a show and have tone down the skin show quite a bit in the last couple of years.
