Looks like BPD made an arrest in this case. Congratulations to the officers who put in the good work to take this predator off the street. Only God knows what else he might have done in the past and what else he might have went on to do if not caught.

A 20-year-old man has been charged with trying to abduct two female Bolingbrook High School students as they walked home from school on separate days in January, police said today.

Kareem L. Green, of the 500 block of Preston Drive in Bolingbrook, was arrested Tuesday and charged with attempted kidnapping, battery, aggravated battery and two counts of unlawful restraint, police said.

The first incident occurred about 3:20 p.m. Jan. 29, police said. A 16-year-old girl reported that a man approached her as she walked near Radcliff Drive and Old Stone Road a short walk from the school and tried to pull her into his vehicle, which was described as a blue, late 1990s Ford Explorer, police said.

A bystander saw the girl struggling with the man and yelled at him, prompting him to get in the SUV and drive away, police said.

The girl went home and told a parent what happened, police said. The parent called 911.

Two days later, at about 2:10 p.m. Jan. 31, a man reportedly followed a different 16-year-old girl into an apartment building in the 300 block of Woodcreek Drive, also a short walk from the school.

The man grabbed the girl from behind as she entered a second-floor hallway, but she fought him off and he ran away toward nearby Plimmer Park, police said.

Valley View School District 365U posted alerts about both incidents on its website.

Green was arrested after both victims and a key witness identified him as the suspect, police said.

Green is in custody at the Will County Adult Detention Facility. His bond amount has not yet been set, according to jail records.

More than a few of his suppose it's friends have posted on the patch website claiming that there's no way it could be him.

But from what I've heard Bolingbrook police have built a very solid case around this.

His friends need to think about his alibi such as where was he at the time of these alleged abductions.

He is also known to frequent the area of the alleged abductions which are around Bolingbrook high school where he was a recent graduate and also works right down the street at the local hospital Bolingbrook Adventist.

He also drives the vehicle identified by the eyewitnesses as the vehicle involved new alleged adoptions.

Bolingbrook police went to the Will County states Atty. with their evidence and the states attorney office had no problem charging him with two class 3 felonies and two class 4 felonies.

The bond court judge obviously recognized what the Bolingbrook police and the states attorney presented in front of him therefore resulting in a $500,000 bond.
