Everyone should click on Philly.com to the right of "Full story" under the title of the article above. Please read the entire story to fully understand the magnitude of the situation in the school district.

I've copied and pasted one of the most shocking statements from the article below.
Others protested, and at a school board meeting last month, director Robert Smith made a motion to begin a search, but it ended in a 4-4 deadlock. Smith said the board had agreed to a search when Harner was hired - although director Mitch Anderson acknowledged that was just a ploy to get the votes needed at the time.

"That's the sort of horse-trading one does when you try to accomplish something. That's what happens in Congress," said Anderson, a former Quakertown teacher.

I'm glad that Mitch Anderson was a science teacher rather than a social studies teacher. What he did, which was lying, shouldn't happen at any level of government. It was not "horse trading", it was deception.

The behavior of the "fast five" (Stepanoff, Anderson, Shermer, Ripper, and Landes) clearly violates the Code of Conduct for School Board Members. Their homework assignment should be to read Board Governance Standards/Code of Conduct. Are they abiding by the following?

- Leading with respect and taking full responsibility for Board activity and behavior.

- Operating as a collective Board in making decisions.

- Striving toward ideal conditions for effective School Board service to our community, in a spirit of teamwork and devotion to public education, is the greatest instrument for preserving and perpetuating our representative democracy.(Anderson has already stated that they are a republic, not a democracy. And then said, it's true.)

- Devoting time, thought and study to our duties and responsibilities as School Board member is critical for rendering effective and credible service.

- Board members should work together in a spirit of harmony, respect and cooperation, despite differences of opinion.

- We will not use our positions as School Directors to benefit ourselves or any individual or agency.

Come to the School Board meeting on Thursday night, April 10th and demand that the Board remain committed to their promise of conducting a proper search for a superintendent.

Spent years warning people about Orloff and his cronies. No one votes. No one listens. You've opened the door and invited in the vampire. It's too late now. I will not spend my remaining days dealing with these criminals. Be ripped off is one thing, but allowing it is insanity. I'm out of here soon.

Since I'm handing out homework, Shermer's assignment is to read the Sunshine Act or maybe he needs a dictionary to look up the definition of quorum. He's obviously oblivious to the Sunshine Act.

There was a meeting of the HR Committee on Monday, March 31st to review the bogus surveys with the parent representatives regarding the superintendent search. The committee is comprised of Strunk, Cattie, King, and Stepanoff. Guess who showed up? You've got it right, Shermer did! He had to be reminded by one of the board members that a quorum was now present since he joined the meeting. He was told that he could remain but could not speak because of the Sunshine Act. He remained and pretended to sleep. This is outrageous behavior demonstrated by a board member!

You might also wonder why he didn't leave. I guess Stepanoff felt that he needed some sort of backup because he felt uncomfortable in the presence of the three HR committee members that act with integrity

Will the superintendent search be a topic of discussion at the school board meeting on Thursday? Be sure to check the agenda.

There will be a discussion on the Superintendent search at the next meeting for sure if the public show's up and demands it!! The public has the right to speak about any subject they choose at any board meeting during public comment. It's in the publics best interest to be at this Thursday meeting 4/10 at 7pm!

The agenda is published on the district website. It indicates that the President will give a report on the "Superintendent Process". Public comment comes before that. A voting item doesn't appear, but that doesn't mean one of the "fast five", as referred to above, won't slip one in. Come out and be heard.

Will there be a ruling on the alleged violation of the Sunshine Act on Thursday night? Does anyone have sufficient information to ask fthe solicitor for a ruling?

Unfortunately, there's no reason to suspect the solicitor would provide an incriminating response. After all, he's nothing more than another Orloof / Stepanoof puppet. He may have legal responsibility, but no doubt it's tilted in favor of the gang.

I wonder if he'll appear at the meeting Thursday night, April 10th at 7:00 PM? Maybe he'll do a repeat performance of the January 23rd meeting where he was completely out of control. He made derogatory comments about other public members that spoke at the meeting and when board members attempted to gain control, he screamed at the top of his lungs, "I'VE GOT THE PODIUM". He screamed this statement at least three times while he shook and turned bright red. Stepanoff was too afraid to ask Orloff to stop his inappropriate behavior so he turned to the solicitor and asked for advice. The solicitor then told Orloff to keep his comments to the agenda items.

The fact that Stepanoff was too afraid to tell Orloff that he was behaving inappropriately speaks volumes. As we all know, the "fast five" are well controlled. What a shame, when will one of the five realize enough is enough, and have the courage to step away from the group and start thinking for themselves?

I heard that the teachers were to respond to a survey about having a search for superintendent.. If so, does anyone know how the survey turned out?

TRANSPARENCY should be one of the topics discussed at tomorrow's meeting. Harner has publicly stated that he believes in full transparency. I want to know why I should feel comfortable with Harner as the superintendent knowing that there are 15 to 18 allegations from the Cumberland Valley staff, as well as questionable behaviors exhibited during his tenure in South Carolina.

I will not rest until he provides a full disclosure of his past history which to date remains sealed.

Has anyone considered that there is a connection between Gov. Corbett and Dr. Harner. There is also a connection between Paul Stepanoff and Craig Statts.
Gov. Corbett is running for re-election and recently fired Dr.Harner from the Education Chair position after one months time.
Craig Statts is beginning his campaign for the 145th Rep, Paul Clymers seat, and most likely needs as much help as he can get with his campaign.
What if this is a you scratch my back I scratch your back situation. Corbett needs Harner safely tucked away somewhere, QCSD, and Statts needs support for his campaign.
Could be not be that way at all but it's an interesting though.

You can bet that Stepanoff will sound like a parrot tonight. He will repeat over and over that they are following Dr. Galasso's recommendation. The truth is being twisted. We'll see how much longer they can drag this out.

Stepanoff reports that it was unanimous by the board that they will NOT look for more candidates for superintendent which proved untrue by some of the board.
Stepanoff also fumbled his words and pretty much said Harner is in.
Stepanoff also wants to put solar panels on the high school and says he has nothing to gain from it. Bullshit!!!
Meanwhile Orloff looking around the room scouring at most.
