Okay, I'm a recent addition to the LV school district and I likely know some of the students participating in these foolish actions. My classmates now cannot go out in a La Vernia t-shirt withought getting pooe-y comments from other schools like "ooh, watch your backs in the bathroom, La Vernia's here!" and other quotes like that.

As I see it, La Vernia really is not a violent school, more foolish and lacking the good sense to keep things off the internet.

Because of their actions, the school is now making new policies and going rather over the top with them. However, I do not disagree with them.

Out of all the students caught, only 1 got expelled.

What's the big deal? If they were all consenting, let 'em scrap. It's good for them.

It is a big deal, school is not for this. What happens to some innocent kid who has to pee and stumbles into this? How can these idiots at this school teach when students are allowed to carry a phone and spend the day texting each other!!! Why are the administrators unable to control these kids???

you know what first of all, this was not a fight club, DAMN, its just a little game of 10 seconds in the bathrooms, no big deal, i think the only thing wrong about the whole thing is that it is at school. besids that, everyone agreed to fight, no one was picked on or anything, everyone says these kids are SO violent, why is this violent? it could easily be considered a sport, hell it is a sport, ever seen UFC, yah and they go a lot longer than 10 seconds, so calm down everyone, and shutup, what la vernia really needs is an after school boxing class, that way it is supervised and school related.

Are you seriously telling me that you do not see this as a problem I watched these videos and on at least one there is a boy trying to get away and stop the fight. This is not a video game or the UFC these are young men who should have been raised that bringing physical pain to someone for "the fun" of it is morally wrong. In school I should have the expectation of safety for my child if you get caught kissing in LVISD you can be punished but physical violence you feel is acceptable I feel sorry for any children you may have and for the generation being raised this way. There is no excuse for beating each other in a bathroom for fun and I feel there is no excuse for the school system who allows this to go on!!! The kids involved should be ashamed but the parents who say it was "no big deal" should be more ashamed of what they are teaching their kids physical violence is not the answer and is not a game.

haha you guys saying this is bad are so naive. first, Fight Club was not our motivation. two, I had the worst injury, a broken jaw, and I'm fine. three, would you honestly rather us get in a fight pissed off at the opponent and cause real damage? or would you rather us vent our anger in a controlled invironment and still all be friends after?
