it's just ridiculous, isn't it? and it doesn't look like it's going to be getting any better anytime soon. too many parents are absolutely clueless.

Truer words were never spoken! I don't know how some of these parents sleep at night.

I am amazed at how many kids seem so out of control. So many kids think the sickest things are funny. Some seem to respect no one, not even themselves.

It absolutely is enough to evacuate a school. How can you tell what is a real threat and what isn't? When it comes to things like this, schools must err on the side of caution.

If they didn't and God forbid something happened, the results would be tragic.

Rather than be angry with the school for doing the right thing, why don't you be angry with the peson who did such a stupid thing.

a threat is a threat...obviously, the school thought that it was credible enough to call in the police and we all know that is the last thing ANY school wants to have to do. they HATE the negative publicity. if that makes them scaredy cats, so be it. i'd rather that than see kids get hurt after they have ignored a warning sign. i don't think it's a waste of time for police to ensure our children's safety.
