The truth has been being ignored for two plus years boys and girls. Some folks, heretofore referred to as "disgruntled employees", have been screaming it without much effect.

It has finally started to come to the light of day. Thank you LC Sun News for the coverage. Let's all just stay tuned for the rest of the story. OHS is breathing much easier these days.

While the goals set forth were common amongst staff, the interpersonal relationships prerequisite to achieving these goals may be what was missing from the big picture. Perhaps we all see now the seriousness of this type of deficit in our system of socialized education. It is a cancer that leads to disasters such as these.

The sun news also failed to mention that he is a disgrace to the United States Navy.

I personally think it has to do with his "coach" complex. He has that coach mentality. Not to mention, I think he has a problem with the females and his authority.

I heard complaints that Del Toro implemented a "Dress Code". What a bunch of crybabies.

The only reason why we "have very capable administrators and awesome teachers" is because of Del Toro! He is the only high school teacher in this town that is doing a decent job! Are you going to treat him like you did Ogas? Just because he cares about ALL the students and makes teachers "teach" and dress well, you want to put him on leave for some teachers lying about him? Mr. Rounds, you better get all your ducks in row on this one or you are going to have some very angry people on your hands!!

Can you tell me why the LCPD chief and the DA are still on the job when a resident of Las Cruces was tased seven times(twice in the head) while never under arrest and is offered a quick settlement with a gag order to make it all go away. Let's walk these two crooks to the door once and for all.

Not surprising considering what my friends who work at Onate tell me. At Onate the students and parents often treat the teachers like dirt...but the administrators treat the teachers much, much worse.

The GISD nedds to do the same thing to the idiot that is the principal at Gadsden Middle School. A completely incompetent twit. He also attempts to get rid of anyone that disagrees with him.

Too late sapo. People have been very angry since 2007. Guys like you really are UNBELIEVABLE!!

Do you really think there were no good teachers before this administrator?

Let me set you straight son: Onate High School was THE MOST IMPROVED SCHOOL IN NEW MEXICO on the NMSBA exams the year BEFORE he got there! What don't you understand about this? Hello???? McFLY???

We have barely begun to dig out of the dip in achievement with the scores from last year. We are improving, but at the cost of our former progress.

Unbelievable is a perfect name for you who speak with total ignorance of truth. Nobody should believe such foolery.

I've been told he doesn’t like dealing with his Naval JROTC instructors or the program in general, he doesn’t like to support it, what's with this guy?
