'We can't afford not to USE the data' so anyone who thinks your kids data will be buried in school archives and never see the light of day are fooling themselves. Today it's "use" the data to track students progress-allegedly. But tomorrow ...?
1984, George Orwell, big brother what ever you want to call it. But really, how is this going to benefit an former student adult they tracked?
The communist love to track and put you on a "track" they think or ASSume you should be on. Is that what we want, someone's fate determined before they are a teen because of previous tracking data.
But it comes down to a privacy issue when it's all said and done. A professional nanny watches you ALL of the time. No wonder New York wants to do this.
