Hey facts straight, who are u related to? Please don't say none of them. You want full disclosure from the local paper, so step up and give your name and affiliation. I didn't think so....a coward just like your family member.

Haha I'm insulting you? That's unfortunate but I'm just stating my opinions on the article like everyone else is. And I'm not related to any of these kids in any way. You're apparently all knowing though so you should have caught on to that already.

yes thats what im talking about. i wanna start seeing some names if ur gonna step up and make comments as if u had that house wired and have video tapes dating back to that night. Who ever claims they hate the hallorans were clearly benched by one their sons or didnt get any playing time in little league and are now revenge seeking rejects. Go sit down and have a conversation with the family and then come say you hate them.

I will say my son was there. I would like to say that he was not. But what is most important is the fact that I love him and hope that someday he will look back at this and say he has become a better individual.

He who is without sin let him cast the first stone.

Actually my son played on his team. I happen to umpire one of his games when his son was 11 and he had him balling because he was not piching good enough. No wonder the kid takes roids

There are times as a dad you wonder what you might do different as a parent to help your son become the best he can with the gifts he was given. Maybe I am a moron But I do know I do not have to answer to you or the people full of hate. I still love my son and will help him were I can and realize he has choices in life he needs to make for himself and I just hope them to be that that would make his mother proud of him.

Having been a student at THS and have had many interactions with the listed people this is what I can say:

Mr H.- Arrogant, thinks he knows everything and that he and his family is the king of all. I had him as a coach for a few years and I must say he has quite the temper and is pushy as all hel-l. Extremely hard on both his kids to be the absolute best at EVERYTHING they did, to the point they would often cry, and cry, and cry. Probably could use anger management classes. Too competitive!

Mrs H.- Really nice person...

Kevin H.- Cocky bastard, also likes to run his mouth. Drugs, roids, and a heavy drinker. Parents believe he is an "angle".The apple doesn't fall far from the tree (Mr H.) fits well...

Mr. Oliver - Father of both Sam and Bill Oliver. Teacher at THS. I had him for a few classes and he was (when I had him)known for being a pretty laid back teacher, and judging by his children, a very laid back parent as well. He was well known by the druggies, my guess because they often hung out at his house with his sons.

Sam O.- I honestly did not know him well.

Bill O.- White trash. That is the best I can describe him. He frequently had this cocky attitude my guess spanning from his prior stunt in growth in high school. He was for the longest time a shorter smaller build kid, but hes now grown quite a bit and apparently his ego has inflamed with this. Constantly getting into trouble through out high school, constantly. Only an assumption but I'd guess had his father not been a teacher at THS, his son would of never passed high school. I'd love to see what strings were pulled for him...Well known in school for supplying and dealing drugs.

Joe S.- Decent kid, not too cocky, did well in school, had a poor choice in friends.

Mr S.- Had him as an assistant coach for a few sports, not nearly as pushy and enraging as Mr H. but he had what you'd expect from a coach who wanted to see his team succeed.

Nick D.- Drug dealer. Has a amazingly different brother, almost as if he was adopted.

That is everyone I know being a former student at THS.

I do feel that the punishments are a bit underwhelming, considering their actions and prior history (maybe not with the law, but knowing them personally, they need a sterm whipping.).

Clearly the friend of the defendants. If you read my previous posts I share few good words about anyone involved, tho I will say the defendants and their families are far worse than the victims.

Neither is the ideal family, but if I were to judge, I'd say I'd prefer to have my kids drink at my house, under the supervision of a parent.

Now I know your going to say how do I know there was supervision, blah blah blah, clearly for the defendants, wherever they were there was no supervision, or extremely poor.

You say the hallorens let them drink at their house then drive home... hmm how did they drive home when they freaking lived there... oh wait, you mean Joe S.? Thats right he was still there at 2:30am... yea he drove home...

Your about as smart as the defendants and the families... its no lifes like you that allowed them to get such easy sentencing.

All those kids shoudl have gotten some serious time with the exception of kyle milligan... he should have gotten the chair if u ask me. He's of no good use to society, he never has been never will be. Its pathetic my tax dollars had to go torward defending his pathetic, wasteful life, and now im paying to feed him in jail when there could have been some civil vengeance involved. The court system is a joke and so is the entire milligan family.
i dont know if you name really is jane freeman... but just for the record.. the 18 year old jane freeman from tyngsboro did not say that.....

I'm not sure if your a parent of one of the defendants, but if so, unfortunately your son is not making the choices he has to make.

Your being extremely lenient and judging from his actions, a lenient parent is not what your child needs. It seems like most of the people I know involved in this situation have one major thing in common... a lack of parenting or in the case of the Hallorens, poor parenting.

If your son is a defendant, theres one thing I suggest you do, convince him to go into any branch of the military. While it may sound crazy, your son really needs a stern lesson in respect and discipline.

Think about it....
