Another important pieces of information complicating things even further are that Ingalsbe had contact with children even after he was dismissed from the school in December.

"I didn't realize there were minor children in the home. I didn't realize there were contacts being made with children under 17 being made by this individual," said Padgett.

I personally think Padgett gave a lame excuse why the parents were not told about this man and not making the information public when it happened. Also to be fair..Shame on the school for not saying anything. Isn't election time coming around??

I spoke to the school last school year about the janitor hugging my daughter. I told my daughter to not talk or be around him EVER! They knew he was not doing right long ago!

I as well think Padgett gave a lame excuse. Black needs to be in office again. You can guarantee there would have been forewarning to the parents if she had been in there.

Black supporters sure are up her ass aren't they? I wouldnt doubt if it was people who work in her office or are friends posting the slanted crap on here. Why wasnt Cynthia's daughter prosecuted when they caught her with marijuana on school property? Oh yeah, Cynthia was prosecutor at that time and told the school she would handle it. Nothing was ever done about this. Now if it was someone elses kid, they would have been expelled! Please let's go over Black's record as a prosecutor so we can show what type of person she really is and not the one she pretends to be. I wonder what Mike Cunningham would have to say about her since Cynthia had no issues going out and telling people about Mike's private life when she had no right to do so!

Excuse me "Ron".....I know for a fact Padgett had done the same thing talking about someone concerning a case she was handling personally to other people-I guess she thought the other lawyers would not tell their clients.......oops she was wrong. So pretty much alot of people do it and think they can get away with it just because they are in the position they are in. Does not make it right but they do it anyway.

The schools were the ones who messed up, not the county. The Superintendent handled it very poorly. I think everyone needs to get all the facts straight on here.

Danette Padgett admitted she wanted to keep it quiet. I think you need to get all the facts straight on here. I don't even live in your state and even I know that fact. Please read the article before you post. Even watch the video if you don't like to read. It has came from her own mouth. She knows to ask all these questions when someone is accused of a crime like that...her answer "I did not realize" is truly not acceptable. That is a VERY POOR EXCUSE for a prosecuting attorney to even say. Padgett should be ashamed for saying something like that. But I guess the saying is true...."it is better to cope with a bad conscience than with a bad reputation".

It is amazing to me that I get notifications every week about progress reports, make up days, or how to vote on school issues, however, I recieved no notifications about potential child molestors working at the school last December. Maybe the educators need to be educated.

I would like to tell everyone that people that live in glass houses shouldn't throw rocks. Fist of all the current prosecutor is not above and beyond talking trash. She doesn't have the character that Cynthia Black has. And don't be bringing up people's kids if you wanna talk smack. Shame on you!! Cynthia wasn't trying to earn a name for herself by offering information about cases in Webster county behind Hillbilly One Stop Where was the concern for those families.??. Oh how ugly things can get when we have all the wrong folks in control. Bring back Cynthia Black!!!

Just because you stick a few hundred pinwheels in the ground for your own satisfaction doesn't mean justice is being served. I think in fact it speaks for itself.. I mean come on , you would think your character would be able to speak for itself. Without a spine and a good moral compass pinwheels probably seemed like a good idea at the time. Frown!

I completely agree. How can we trust these people with our children if they are not going to tell us whats going on? Shame on this school and its "leaders" (I say that loosely).

Please read the article befor posting. Here is your answer....

The Webster County Prosecutor says the main reason is because the police investigation is ongoing, and she just now received enough information to make the charge.

"Unfortunately, it's not like television. Things don't happen in 48 hours. Cases aren't solved in an hour. Information can't be collected in an hour. Sometimes it take a long period of time to collect all of the information and get everything together," said Danette Padgett.

Also from the article:

Another important pieces of information complicating things even further are that Ingalsbe had contact with children even after he was dismissed from the school in December.

"I didn't realize there were minor children in the home. I didn't realize there were contacts being made with children under 17 being made by this individual," said Padgett.

So I guess the reason the school did not say anything is because DANETTE PADGETT informed them to wait.

"I have two little girls, and it could have been them," said parent Dan Wooley.

A day after prosecutors charged 52-year-old Philip Ingalsbe with one count of child molestation, for allegedly inappropriately touching a Shook Elementary School student, parents want to know why the school district didn't let them know about the incident that happened more than two months ago.

"I was extremely angry. They had no right or reason not to tell us. Even if they didn't indulge in too much information, they still should have told us there was a situation. I mean it could have been our children," said Wooley.

His two daughters both go to Shook Elementary and he wants to know why Ingalsbe was not charged when the incident happened.

"It's extremely stupid that it took this long. I feel if it was the average person, they would have been in jail the next day. I understand you have to get your evidence together, but there's no excuse for it to take this long," said Wooley.

Another important pieces of information complicating things even further are that Ingalsbe had contact with children even after he was dismissed from the school in December.

"I didn't realize there were minor children in the home. I didn't realize there were contacts being made with children under 17 being made by this individual," said Padgett.

Even more of a reason why parents are worried about why they didn't know sooner.

"It's sad to believe there may be other children out there that this has happened to, and nobody knows anything about it," said Jamie Dardenne.

KSPR also learned that Ingalsbe was serving as a group leader with the Marshfield Area 4-H Club. His bond conditions now prevent him from having any further contact with minors.

The Webster County Prosecutor says depending on what information comes forth, more charges could be pending on Ingalsbe.

Meanwhile, the Marshfield School District says it is open to having a meeting with parents, and will arrange one if they contact the district's office.

Do you people read thru what you all read. As I read thru this today, I cried. Sexual assault towards a child and instead of focusing your thought on how to better help the child, it sounds like the situation might be being used for political gain or to argue the point of who's better then who. I see it totally different, I see this growing problem thru the eyes and heart of my child and I want to fight to stop it. Lets find away to stop it! I see it thru the changes of a family, not only the victims family, but the family of the pedifile as well becomes a victim. All victims of an idiot that needs help himself and/or herself. Having had to deal with this in our own family, I pray you don't have to go thru this. My child goes thru anxiety attacks, are you there for him or her. My child has been threatened by friends of the pedifile, because my child is standing up for whats right. My child get called degrading names Not only so it doesn't happenen in our family again, but so it doesn't happen in your family as well. What are we going to do? I am sorry , a slap on the hand and probation doesn't cut it, as the victims have a life sentence. There's not just this injustice in Webster County, it's all over Missouri, our show me state. Well people of Missouri, SHOW US! What are you going to do, continue to slap hands and cover up or help do something. It doesn't matter who your family is, rich or poor, it could happen to you. I have had people say it's because of the parenting or some other non-sense. WAKE UP! Has nothing to do with anything. A pedifile focuses on a child as a challenge and thinks they can outsmart everyone and take the dignity and trust from a child.(Not because the pedifile is strong, but because they're selfish, sick weak individuals) It upsets me seeing how many cover this growing problem up. What you need to do is meet some of these children and/or families (the victims) When they speak up, their Hero's and who isn't speaking up for the victims and standing behind these victims should be ashamed of yourselves. Child sexual abuse is happening in the home, in the church, in the school and in the street. But the saddist place it's happening is RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOUR EYES! Please do some research...... in Missouri there are 15,000 registered sex offenders, 2000 some are in prison , making 13,000 + registered sex offenders out in our communities watching our children> (SCAREY THOUGHT, ISN'T IT!) But it doesn't stop there, how about all of the unregistered sex offenders that are in the court systems, oh and yes the one's that think they're the smart ones because they haven't been caught yet. The number grows. These pedifiles don't wear signs and are not just ugly looking Ogers, they can be that pretty lady you saw at the park the other day, asking if your child could have a treat or the good looking man that was nice enough to tie your precious childs shoe when your hands were full and unable. Then there's the justice system. The sex offender can confess to what they have done and yet be put back on the streets, the sex offender has the right to a fair trial, the sex offender has the right to a speedy trial (or they can drag it on and put the victims thru additional hell.(remember the main victim is a child) The victims do not have any of these rights and they have to go before the courts and tell total strangers what happened, time after time, while the the sex offender sits at the table in front of them making face gestures and victimizes the victim more. (Cont. from previous comment) I tell you what the victim has to be; not only strong, but a Hero, because they're trying to save your child the pain of being a victim by standing up for whats right. Next time you wonder about how you would handle a situation like this, put the face of your child in the place of one of these brave or scared to death victims (both a little of the same) and see that child as being yours, WHAT WOULD YOU DO? How would you want your child to be treated and what rights does this justice system need to give to these victims (possibly your child). Our justice system along with the pedifile can drag out these cases as long as they want. SHOW US MISSOURI! WHAT YA GONNA DO! And the school system was so wrong with not having enough respect for the children and the families of the children to warn the people of any possiblities. SHAME ON YOU! Try get ahold of state representatives about this growing problem, you're either ignored or passed on so many times until you get to the end of their list and then they'll ask for your vote. Vote and Joke (wow they sound like they rhyme, as one of my children would say) We've taught our children to repect these people, our justice system and our local law enforcement, Voted all of my life and also taught our children the importance of voting. Did we do right? Do they consider us "We The People"??? Or just another vote.

Berger Out! Yes, he is leaving and taking a job at Waynesville School as an assistant. After failing to report crime of sexual assault against a young boy that happened on the Conway school bus last May, the last week of school by some boys that have ties to Berger's family. The victim's parents were told that all reports would be made to law and the bullies parents and then did not report it. Berger would let no one discipline these bullies... even after saying punishment would be given. When school started back in August the bullying got even worse probably because no punishment had been given at all. The victim's family learns through the bullies bragging that no punishment at all was given to them and their parents were not ever told.Berger covered this up, played favortism & broke the law by failing to report this. This boy had to leave his school the bullying got so bad.EVERYONE ABOVE THAT SAID THE SCHOOL WAS IN THE WRONG FOR NOT INFPRMING PARENTS >>IS SO RIGHT. Berger wanted to keep crime hush hush even at the cost of hurting kids. So thankful he will be gone after June 2013.Too many kids have had to leave the school because of him not protecting them or allowing punishment to those he favors. He has lied to contless parents faces in our community. Many are thanking the Lord for ansered prayer- cause he is leaving.Poor Waynesville!
