Could be, Coyote, and I hope they get on well together. But from what Katie gives us to understand it seems that it is she who messes around with him, but as long as they both enjoy it, nothing's wrong.

I keep saying it moron, if I raped your son, you would have gone to the police and I would be in jail. But I didn't rape your imagined little boy. He doesn't even exist. Only in your wild, pathetic imagination.
Whatever you say, Bob. You still don't realize which kid was my son. You still haven't figured out whose father I am. And my son didn't discover that the perp was online until years later. It's not been easy to put it all together. It took time. But in the process, others have come forward. I have said all of this before. And like me, you are merely rehashing what you already have said. We'll see what happens. I can't say any more at this critical juncture. Nice talking to you.

Bob- if there is any chance of that happening then we will never be able to keep Sir Art from that location at the table- I expect when she gets Zuiko's request of KM to pass along his comment "katie, please tell her she is a precious woman." BA may well have a post on here in the near future so will try and find out if she would be likely to pinch--sorry, at this point in organizing this affair there are not many guarantees... like uh, you understand- man this 5'6"straight up man may be a jealous type so lots of diligence to be done before the get together-- tks I gotta crash...

Surely if Bob had abused your son and others have pointed the finger then regardless of whatever stage the enquiry has reached Bob would have been questioned by now?
If Bob is as you say he is and he now commits another similar crime and it is then discovered the police had been warned or/and had evidence then they are in for what we Brits call a serious bollocking.
Unless of course you don't know for sure you have the right man?

And there is no finer example of what Phil means when he insists, "I have a life." Indeed, he DOES "have a life", and that "life" he has revolves around Bob's and mine.

OR: Phil may be inquisitive as to how such accusations and denials progress and what authorities become involved ? He may be following 20 other such incidents at this time...maybe.... I fail (often) to see he is guilty of any inappropriate encroachment other than asking questions of things being given as facts on an internet topic..

MaltaMon is such a prima donna.
He covets attention by posting lurid details of something extremely personal that has no place on a public forum (I bet his son is thrilled) then runs screaming to mummy when someone sees the obvious holes in his story, suggesting those who do not hang on his every word must be deviant or obsessed.
He is like the petulant schoolboy who will not let anybody join in his game unless he is allowed to win.

Coyote, he is upset.
He accused a poster of a serious crime and realises he was stupid in the extreme but MaltaMon being the sort of man he is he can't bear to admit he screwed nor will he repeat the allegation.
Maybe he is actually following someone's advice at last, showing some uncharacteristic humilty and accepting he is wrong.
There is always a first time for everything.

I do not know ,Phil, but after all the unproductive , uncivil etc. exchanges I (?-some others) participated in it is likely most do not give a rat's ass anymore as to the MM- PBob thing- esp. MM and Bob. Sure most abhor the criminal act reported here but any concern via questions is a waste...(my thots_... it is clear to me Bob is not involved in any such thing and whatever the reason he is/was accused escapes me. 4 sure there is always a first time for everything and shudder to think of what may lie ahead in that regard.

Oh Jesus. Now you have adopted yet another of the expressions that I've aimed at you many times: "petulant schoolboy". There isn't an original thought in that uneducated head of yours. Always have to nick from me. And with regard to everything else--your three or four postings in a row (admittedly, I didn't care enough to count 'em) this afternoon on what I have said about your life being so invovled with mine...(in your own mind, that is, because I don't care about your life beyond the defensive claims you make obsessively about it, whether or not their is any truth to them at all) you make my point that you have a very unhealthy interest in what I do and what I say. You can't leave me alone, which is what I and perhaps others would want. We have nothing constructive to say to one another. Nothing good will come of any further communication. So please, be a gentleman for once and leave when asked. I don't mean leave the room, Phil; I mean leave my life. You have been no more than an annoyance, but that you won't give up concerns me that perhaps there is a genuine whack job in our midst. I mean, beyond being a sexually closeted father and husband, which isn't an illness--just a choice. I mean an obsessive stalker.

And Bob, if I'm a prima donna, have you considered the possibility that you are merely obnoxious? But not just mildly obnoxious, or occasionally obnoxious, but very obnoxious--always obnoxious. You fancy yourself as some sort of scholarly gentleman, but you are neither. If you were, you wouldn't be so fascinated with what I do. If you were, you wouldn't frequent these nude-boy threads with no other purpose. If you were, you'd leave when asked to. Now, before you respond (and I really hope you don't keep responding.. It's such a drag; you're what my father used to call "a crashing bore" and "a milquetoast")please note that I have not once claimed to be a gentleman. If I truly were, I wouldn't be chasing pedophiles on here either or otherwise insulting people who insult me. Just go. Please, Phil. You're a pain in the ass.

That is the last thing I have to say to you, Phil. Do as you wish. Insult me or not--I really don't care. If you can't shake your obsession with my life, I will no longer play along. I will refrain from further direct communication with you because there is nothing whatsoever to be gained from it--not even the tepid sense of fleeting pleasure that I used to get from responding to your more outrageous insults. That's no longer available to me: I'm thoroughly, thoroughly bored with you. So good-bye Phil. Be well. All best wishes to your children.

coyote, The UN has betrayed it's original mission. Following it's useful role in the Berlin Airlift that ended in 1949, it allowed itself to be co-opted by President Truman in the summer of 1950 into three of the bloodiest and most destructive years in the history of modern warfare to which it donated its name, its prestige and authority. That's a far cry from the ideals of its Charter. And barely five years after the San Francisco conference in April 1945. Truman wanted to avoid a Congressional fight over a declaration of war; he wanted the presidency to have the power to wage these open-ended proxy "police actions" of the Cold War that ultimately avoided direct confrontation with the USSR. The United Nations wasn't similarly appropriated again until Bush Sr, in a successful effort to cover up his blunder in giving our coddled client despot, Sadaam Hussein whom the US used as its proxy in a war against Khomeni's Iran, the 'ok' to take a few kilometers of Kuwaiti territory to enable his access to a cigar-shaped oil field there. Sadaam went off the reservation: he took all of Kuwait and annexed it as Iraq's fourteenth province. The massive response to the Iraqui "invasion", which President Bush had provoked uninintentionally, was Desert Storm, manned by a UN-approved "coalition of the willing".

Then Bush Jr, encouraged by his neo-con Chicken Hawk advisors and their leader, Vice President Dick Cheney, took advantage of the post-9/11 national fear of terrorism. He allowed Osama Bin Laden to slip through our hands at Tora Bora just two months after Al Queda's attack on the Twin Towers and the Pentagon. Indeed, were he to have captured the America's number-one enemy, he'd have had difficulty persusading Congress, the American people, and the United Nations that Iraq was in cahoots with Al Queda and in possession of Weapons of Mass Destruction. In fact, the weapons that Pres Dubya wanted to retrieve were those that the United States had provided Sadaam to wage war against the Ayatollah Khomeini. Now, they were not necessarily the "WMD" that were advertised (apart from the US-produced mustard gas that Sadaam had used against Iraqui Kurds in 1988) but they were ours.(Re: Cheney. He was, of course, Bush Sr's Defense Secretary, who, after leaving the Pentagon, joined Halliburton in a sweet deal that cast the ex-Defense Sec'y
as its CEO with enormous chunks of interest in that major defense contractor. As we know, Halliburton was one of the few who rebuilt Kuwait's oil infrastructure that Sadaam's elite Republican Guard, along with his army--then the world's fourth largest, thanks to the US--had destroyed in its retreat from its "fourteenth province". They even set afire all but a handful of Kuwait's oil wells. Halliburton made a fortune from its no-bid contracts from the Pentagon. It would repeat that again as the US military destroyed Iraq's infrastructure after the March 2003 invasion)
