Showing the total number of seniors in September in the school buildings, the number that withdrew/dropped out and the number that took the ACT test. I can agree that problem to educate students that are identified like LD should not take the ACT test. But not showing dropouts fools the reader of the State Report Card information; IE Youngstown has 77% dropout, Jackson Milton (JM) in Mahoning County has 40 of the 110 seniors drop out and only 80 took the ACT. Result look like 95% graduation rare and Excellent with Distinction. Western Reserve (WR) in same County has 21 dropouts and most took the ACT test. The other factor is Total Revenue/Income divided by total students PK -12th shows JM has $2000+ more income than WR. A spread sheet with each drastic cost per student (total income/ number PK 12th) and the cup reported costs. One of these measures of cost is not even cost to the same. JM is asking for new millage last November of 2.9 mills make that school highest income in tri-county are for rural schools/not city schools.
