Educational Philosophy

I am in an education psychology class and have been tasked with interviewing or find out from either veteran or newer teacher about their personal philosophy towards education.

Essentially I would like to know individual teachers general philosophy on teaching is and what they think beginning teachers and pre-service teachers should know. Also, do you use any psychological techniques that you have found work with your students or those that do not? Have your thoughts on things you learned changed after you began teaching? Are there techniques or things you learned that you realized didn't match your own teaching style?

Let me know some of your thoughts. Let me know how many years you have been teaching.

Please reply either in this forum or send me a direct message. Otherwise I am on Yahoo: Instigating_recalcitrant

Also, thank you in advance for assisting me with this!
