Go with him. Don't use your son as a pawn. A pawn that had no right to be born a US citizen anyway. I bet her kid does not even speak English.

Children of US citizen parents who robs banks and sell drugs cast their children's lives into turmoil too when they go to prison the difference is the parents belong here, illegal aliens don't.

Mexicans so hate their country they would rather separate their family then return there.

How many stories do American citizen's have to listen too. Why do we legal American's have to care? When did we choose to break certain laws, fully knowing we endagered ther well being of our kids? Sorta shows us, you care less about maternal love than taking from other people, jobs, food housing etc. Have kids? Take them to there home...the home you fled from, we simply can't take care of you, or your mistakes.78

My Christmas present came late. I have never enjoyed a story on this forum more than this one. I relish the pain the little anchor bastard is going through. How could any human leave his child behind? Oh, wait, I forgot, we're talking about wet backs. Suffer, you parasites!

So the family wants every one possible to sign a petition to keep Jorge from being deported? in other words he messed up causing his own family's misery and now wants the citizens to get him out of the trouble he brought upon himself? just like that? this doesn't work out for US citizens this easy, why should it work out for him so easy? he wants empathy from all of us? he did it to his own kid........we aren't responsible and cannot overlook the fathers reckless behavior, he could have killed someone with his weapons (auto, drunken state). As though this hasn't happened before only for the illegal to be deported and no restitution for their victims' families!!!! I SAY DEPORT JORGE AND LET HIM TAKE HIS FAMILY WITH HIM. Unfortunately we have way toooooo many Jorges running around with the same problem, lets take care of it once and for all AND DEPORT THEM ALL.

Jorge Penate, a Guatemalan national who came to the United States illegally in 1997, has a hearing scheduled Monday that will determine whether he can stay in the country. A drunken driving arrest two years ago launched deportation proceedings and cast his family’s future into uncertainty.
This is the best sob story they can find. Aside from coming here illegally , being here illegally, working illegally, and driving illegally he drove drunk clearly showing his disregard for our country our laws and the lives of others. Another poster boy for enforcement. The question is why has it been 2 years? He should have been sleeping it off in Guatemala the next day.
