With the state that state education is in at the moment is it any wonder that in the USA and in Britain that home schooling is on the increase.Every bloody government our two countries elect mess about with our childrens education.I believe that home schooling is better for children that way their education is not being dictated to by government.

My homeschool teacher prolapsed her ashole and smushed it on my face when i talked back to her. Nobody to this day feels the obligation to punish her for transforming me into a dirty anal slot. Seems they want me this way???

Yes home schooling is the way to go, otherwise we wouldn't have posts by people for whom English appears to be a second language with incorrect syntax, grammar and spelling. Home schooled children learn nothing more than that of their parents who for the most part couldn't pass a GED test themselves. But a lot of it has to do with ignorance as many of the parents simply do not vaccinate their children and thus are not allowed to attend public school, the parents read false info on the net and then believe they are doing good by having their children grow up without proper medical care, perhaps we could also have home doctoring where these so called parents can perform surgery on their own children because they believe they know what is best, home schooling does nothing but foster ignorance, immaturity, and a child who will be looked at as being backwards and ignorant of knowledge.

I got a doctorate in medicine from my uncle Bubba. He makes the best meth in NEPA. He sells most of it in the Tamaqua area.

Syntax and grammar elude you.

Definitely poorly written. The following constitutes exactly a single sentence... and I wonder: Who isn't allowed to attend public school without vaccinations--the children or their parents? Never speak of rope in the home of a man who has been hanged. By the same token, don't speak of syntax if you are unable to recognize what it is. Or perhaps you are you writing from experience. Maybe so. But that avoids the substance of what I say. If one is going to make proper syntax an issue in his or her criticism of home schooling (which, like the writer, I do not support, either)shouldn't to the syntax of his or her statement in which that very criticism is raised? Am I right about what the writer wrote or am I wrong?

The 'to' before 'the syntax' shouldn't be there. Mistake.

It should read, "shouldn't he or she pay attention to the syntax of his or her statement.. etc" Making a mess of my insistence on the use of proper grammar, aren't I? lol Sorry.

I'm someone who cares about my children and their education. With all the tax cuts and restrictions they have put on the districts. Yeah they suck. I should know. I've hade two children graduate already and one still in public school and one home schooling. My non public school children score higher on their state testing. That should say it all right there. So that's who I am.

Home school children are very backward socially and they have a difficult time interacting with peers and adults. I wouldn't wish home schooling on my worst enemy. These kids are social misfits and that's the bottom line.

Then again that's everybody's misconception of homeschooling. We have regular study groups for our children. Outings. It's absolutely wonderful.

The only children I ever known that were home schooled turned out as failures. The parents were sick of their son being gay bashed so much in public schools, that he and the rest of his siblings started being home schooled by the mother. They were/are completely socially retarded, but excellent spellers. To make matters worse the obviously gay effeminate son still claims he is heterosexual even in adulthood.
The mother was a pill popper that used the home schooling as an excuse to not work. She would order from QVC,HSN and catalogs (until the internet arrived)most of the time and UPS, FedEx, DHL and the USPS would deliver her stuff almost daily. She used the elder sons gay bashings as an excuse to begin home schooling all of them.
Now that all of the kids are aged seventeen and older NONE have sought higher education and work low skill sporadic part time jobs.

I don't know how often home schooling fails, but it is probably less than public schools, due to the parents direct involvment with their children's education.
