Welcome to the dumbed down USA. I read an article in the LA Times on Saturday by a college professor. He said that in his classes he comes across kids who can't identify, or properly state, which is the Atlantic and which is the Pacific Oceans. He said that computer access has made students lazy and ill prepared for any real research. This attack on cursive is the latest. I keep old letters and treasure them done in the familiar cursive of my mother or good friends. Who keeps an email?
