LMC is moving head on into Chapter 9 bankruptcy and the ruse of conning youngsters to pump money into the school is a crying shame.
Typically, Cherokee co newspapers flip a coin on which one (the Progress or the Rusk Crapfest) will be feeding the horse hockey to the public.
This week you can count on the Cherokeean to lie through their dentures and report the 100 students foolish enough to enroll in a bankrupt college this Fall.
The Progess article above tells the actual truth that LMC won't be getting ANY Federal financial aid distributions.
LMC has lost SAC accreditation, on scholastic probation, and now lost Title IV programs. Any parent sending money to this place is rolling the dice. They can't guarantee the school year will even complete!

The Tyler Paper takes it to the halfway point by saying the federal aid funds are "in jeopardy" even though the federal judge essentially shut off all Title IV programs.
That means no more Pell grants, financial aid.
LMX is unsustainable without kids paying full tuition, maybe the school will last through the semester.
