They filed for bankruptcy with every one loosing their money except for Jack's. They still have their multi million dollar homes, the cigar boats and their company. They just moved all the money they took from the old company before bankruptcy to the new company that they still own. Same crooks different corporation.

My husband and I purchased carpet from Jack's over 3 years ago. The first carpet was so bad it cracked when they folded it under to tack seams. I got it replaced and the second carpet was flawed with runs and missing thread. I had paid extra to get an upgraded carpet ($12,000 total). Then I found an error due to the first carpet having a match and the second didn't have a match so it was less square footage. I figured out what they owed me and had to explain it to one of the managers 3 times before I got them to agree. He agreed and I didn't receive the refund. I had to call again and he asked me again to explain it to me and bring my receipt in. I told him to look it up on their computer as they should have a copy...big dummies!!! He said it was the padding cost more. The padding hadn't changed but he tried to tell me I had paid more than I said for the padding. The salesman just put a total instead of padding@this amount and carpet@ this amount. Supposedly, they "Never" sold padding at the price I said. I kept calling, finally daily until 6 weeks later, I finally got my $500.00+. You are right...they are CROOKS with a capital"C". If I hadn't caught the mistake, I'm cettain they wouls have never offered the refund. They were not nice after I called them on that. The salesman was not either...he wouldn't even speak with me and was tranferred to another store! I told all my neighbors and friends not to buy from Jack's Carpet. I hope I was instrumental in closing their business!!! If anyone buys from their "new" business, they are not smart!!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!I still don't like my carpet as it has corn rolled. I honestly think they sell seconds. They need to close the "new" business ans just go away quietly into the sunset!
