She sure does have some balls! She also has about a dozen rolls! Suggestion-please don't let her wear tight pants skirts of any kind or form fitting tops. The bulky sweater sets are def her best bet! Glad she has the cents to realize that when she didn't have the dollars to cover her debt!<quoted text>
You people need to get a life and mind your own business. It is quite obvious the only reason you are sooo interested in kelly Kohls is the fact she has more balls than any other school board member in standing up against the teachers union and your agendas.
City school board member Kelly Kohls, who ran for her seat last year on a platform of responsible spending, filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on April 8. Kohls and her husband, Thomas P. Kohls, listed assets of $678,580 and liabilities of $908,110, records with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Dayton show.

Good grief , is that the best you can do? You are the dimmest bulb in the chandelier. Stop the charades, you and your kind are personally attacking her because she is against the school levy, bottom line. You pro levy people are so transparent, it is disgusting. No honor among most of you.
#45 Oct 14, 2010
Yeah same goes for the "other gal". Glad she has the cents to realize that when she didn't have the dollars to cover HER debt either!
#46 Oct 14, 2010
How many ID's are you going to use? Loser!
#47 Oct 14, 2010
Say it ain't so!
#48 Oct 14, 2010
This levy should fail. Why do we have a business manager and a cfo?
#49 Oct 14, 2010
Is Kelly Kohls working a full time paying job. With all that debt it doesn't sound like she's in a financial position to have the luxury of stay at home housewife.

I am just beginning to blog and have been on multiple spots today. Shame on me for being late to the fray.
I will state here, as I have stated on all of the other spots, Wow! the personal attacks are vibrant in their lack of facts and personal assaults.
I sub in various districts and am alarmed to see how Springboro attacks former teachers (reading from the beginning) and anyone who dares to 'go against the grain'.
I hope that the negative and nasty responses are simply from under-informed citizens.
I fear they sound like teachers. I have heard many accuse and gossip a lot of this first hand.
Ug! Fellow teachers, if you want to prove a point, stop with the slander. Organize your facts; present them as such.
If not, hush! You sound like maniacs~
BTW--as I said in other blogs-- I am NOT from CA. It keeps putting that (my own computer ineptness)!
Listen to a teacher who is afraid to put his/her own name... you are losing your case because of such actions as above!!

These questions may need answered also.
The medical bills comment was directed at the OTHER board member that has recently filed Chapter 7 bankruptcy. You know, the one that you say is busy with other aspects of her life, like NOT paying her bills leaving the mess for the taxpayers to bail her out by filing bankruptcy. Yes SHE is one of them. You weren’t aware of that? Yea take a look at the Ellis’ 2007 filing, before the 2008 sub-prime/market crash.
Difficult? Gentry filed just 11 months after plunking down 252,000 on a brand new home. How do you qualify for a loan on a quarter million dollar home if you are in such dire financial straits that 11 months later you are filing chapter 7? IF it was medical bills that supposedly caused this hardship, how do you accumulate so much debt in medical bills while building a quarter million dollar home and a bank still qualifies you for a loan all in less than a year?
Speaking of paying all their bills and wanting them wiped clean. ONE of the creditors that Gentry listed in her Chapter 7 filing was the US DEPT OF EDUCATION. Seems she owed nearly $110,000 that she wanted wiped clean. This self proclaimed bleeding heart liberal says she loves loves loves teachers. So much so that she doesn’t want to pay them for teaching her. How can a BO EDUCATION member that touts her love of teachers, her desire for a levy to pass so more can be hired & so they can be paid more, be 110,000 dollars in debt to the US DEPT OF EDUCATION.$110,000 that she doesn’t want to pay, and wants wiped clean? Hell, a college education must be easy to attain when you don’t pay for it. You get student loans, get the education, get your degree, then run like hell from the financial responsibility, dumping the bill on the taxpayer. She loves teachers and education so much that she wants everyone and anyone else but her to pay for it. Hey Gentry…did you ever pay your student loans or did you have the DEPT OF EDUCATION pawn it off nearly $110,000 on the rest of us?
Hey NFSS, how does it sit with you that a BO EDUCATION member took the education and ran, filed bankruptcy, not wanting to pay for the teachers hard work? Sticking the US Dept of EDUCATION and the taxpayer with the bill. If I were you I would sic the Dayton Daily on this story ASAP.
Truthful, please extend an invitation to the Ellis’s to your seminar so they can get a healthy dose of both. In perspective, a $110,000 debt to the dept of EDUCATION is about ½ of what it would take to restore full busing here in Boro. How does sit with you Mr Proud Springborian?

Your fiscally responsible tea partying school board president. No shame just more sense of entitlement. And you trust her to make decisions with your tax dollars? What a crock of ....
#53 Apr 15, 2013
speaking of a crock with no shame ...
Larry, you have got to be the biggest hypocrite posting on this board. You work for a large corporation making a big fat check while helping to make the CEO and stockholders wealthier.
Then you post all over this board like your a big union member. LOL.
Keep up the Alinsky model of rhetoric - marginalize your opposition.

Obviously Kelly is pounding you with more than sand...
#55 Apr 17, 2013
Does she still live in the same house?
#56 Aug 3, 2013
If you cant trust her to manage her own finances hos can you trust her to manage ours? As a taxpayer...I am paying property taxes....she is not as she rents her house...I do not want someone so financially irresponsible deciding what's the best use of my money. People wake up! Shes not that kind of doctor and she id that kohl's who enjoyed a huge house, horses, vacations and walked away from all her debt. The word taught in school yo describe that behavior! That would br IRRESPONSIBLE!

Kelly Kohls is the most irresposible, agenda driven hypocrite to ever grace the Springboro BOE. Fortunately, on November 5th we can send her packing and restore a sense of sanity to the board.
Kelly...THIS NOVEMBER YOU'RE GONE!!
#58 Aug 3, 2013
too bad there are so many school Nazis running for school board and only 1 good person..Kelly will win a seat, but so will 2 more slugs from the dark side.
