My friends, the Forrest Group, are happy. Now they will take over and make tons of green money. Our friend, Steve West has helped us take over.

So who is the Forrest group?

Who is Steve West?

You are going to make tons of money
with a school bus?

Someday this town will learn what morals are.

If your goal in life is to have money than
you won't. Not if you are stealing.

We live 5 min from the school too. However its 3 miles to the school, so no he cant walk it faster. You can "drive" from one side of town to the other side in 15 min yet its over 15 miles. Im sure you cant "walk" that faster either. So thank before you speak.

you are right....but the school bus driver cant pick up her son and take him straight there....she has other kids to pick up and other schools to go to....in fact she may be on her way out or away from the school when she picks up the son.....so if the kid doesnt like riding the bus so long then she can arrange to have him driven over there or drive him herself...granted thats not always possible...but i grew up in artesia and i walked to school all the time...hardly ever got driven to school...rode a bike most of the time....

Might benefit all these obese kids if they had to walk to school, considering that they all are getting fatter each day. I admit there very few that are at a normal weight.

no reason he can not walk 3 miles in 25-30 minutes

8 miles airport to hospital - not 15

Depending on the route you take, I am sure it is only 8 miles. Also from my house to my childs school there is not a single sidewalk. There is high oil field traffic & other drivers driving above the speed limit. So whether it takes a child 25-30 min to walk 3 miles or not, their safety is much more important to me. Obviously you have never been on lea street by ecec wheen school is starting or ending either. More than half the students ride a bus & yet the traffic is awful through there. If there is not any more buses, that will become a nightmare for not only parents but other travelers down that road. So this really has absolutely nothing to do with the ability of kids to walk to & from school.
