American Airlines regulations state I cannot say anything that would portray AA in a negative light on or off duty. I am not employed as one of the spin doctors. I have no way to shine a positive light on this. Therefore all I can say is "NO COMMENT"

Will the treachery and dishonesty of the management of American Airlines ever end ?
P.S. Mr. Prost;
You are very right about being an employee of American Airlines and taking the name of the company in vain. A co-worker of mine was fired after 10 years with the company back in 1988 when he was working to try and get AMFA in and the TWU out as the mechs union. He mistakenly wrote a news letter about AMFA that had the name "American Airlines' in it and the company stooges in human resources fired him under one of the 10,000 company rules there are.

Marie Antoinette said let the peasants eat cake.

AMR Executives over the years have basically said let the workers and investors eat dirt.

ENTITLEMENT lives in the Excecutive Offices of the detached AMR ruling group high in the stratosphere. Shame it was a company that once at it all now it has spit.

Since Carty talked AA employees into huge cuts in 2003 and proceeded to hand out huge bonuses (a move that cost him his job) there has been little trust @ AA. Arpey took over made promises that weren't kept. Horton came in and went straight into BK... The execs of AA including Horton have said things to show labor how they really feels about them... I was in a room when Horton did it once. Now to answer your question. Parker and Horton have been buddies since college, so HECK NO. But as far as AA is concerned he isn't part of the Good Ol' Boys Club. The fact he could have stayed with them and left to go another direction allows him to have a chance to do something different.
