Pilots at American Airlines approved a new labor contract, which could clear the way for consideration of a merger with US Airways.

Glad to hear the good news. I hope AA will move ahead and build on its labor force that was always a pleasure to deal with and expand slowly as more markets need to be tapped,domestically and internationally.
I think the merger would be a hindrance to AA in reclaiming some lost passengers. US still has many labor problems of its own.
