'“In the past they died of horrible diseases and only lived about 40 years, but now they can live to their 70′s.'"

Whats missing in this article is the fact that when the Spanish invaded Ecuador, the indigenous peoples never had the diseases that the Spanish brought. They were living good lives before the white man arrived.

I have posted before that Correa will drill in Yasuni National Park, regardless if he gets all of the funds or not!
