Quito, Ecuador

Ecuador is one of the most beautiful countries of South America. The weather, the colonial cities and the people are just fantastic. Nothing compares to the landscapes of the Highlands, the lush of the Amazon Rainforest, the exotic Beaches of the Coast and the mystery of the Galapagos Islands.

Dear Zuri, did you take the train from Quito up into the Ruta de los Vulcanos? What a GREAT ride this is if you can catch it. When I did it the price was $3.50 round trip. The train pulled out of Quito and stopped so we could all climb up to the roof for a breath taking, beautiful ride to Cotopaxi! Thanks for the link too! I hope you'll write again soon.
