I am an Italian living in USA. I get to visit Ecuador from time to time because I have good friends down there. I think Quito is one of the most beautiful cities in the world. I love the mountains around the city and the colonial area in the center of the city. The people are nice and the food is magnificent. Take it from me because we have great food in Italy, but I love Ecuadorean food. The cities around Quito are so pituresques. Ibarra, Ambato. The lakes up north are beautiful. I love Quito the most.
