So basically the countries which these people are from are "NOT DECENT" they come from countries that epitimize the lowest of low, they do not even try to help there own people. Yet, these people pride in these garbage countries they come from, which never wanted them. The economic solutions for these countries are let our people flee to the US. Nice, the US should charge these countries like a desposit Well, I guess that is why there countries all lack decency.

I choose the words "These People" and "you people" because I can, not out of ignorance but choice. It is common English and if people need to read into sh*it and pull out the meaning of statements that suit themselves, that is there choice. I am far from racist

You consider the right to have your life saved or to avoid sickness, or to cure a child's sickness a "luxury?" That's just common decency.
And you still have not cited a SPECIFIC example of any immigrant demanding any rights. You may be able to cite examples where they RECEIVE the, but not where they are demanded.
And using the word "immigrants" or "illegal immigrants" would be more specific without having the racial tinge that "these people" (similar to "you people) engenders.
You want an example ? Take a look in Chicago and the illegal alien in a coma there. His own family and government are doing absolutely nothing to offset the substantial costs the hospital - therefore the LEGAL residents of the state and city are absorbing.

I should not say "nothing", they are crying, along with the freaks from LULAC, that the hospital is being unfair, and spending all their time on trying to get publicity rather than raising funds to offset the costs AMERICANS are absorbing.

Common decency would be if the supporters of this unfortunate man would spend their time trying to compensate those who are being compassionate. But they aren't, they are no good thieves stealing from REAL citizens.

An uninsured citizen would have been transferred to long term care, much cheaper, but no LT care facility wants to absorb the costs, so meanwhile a needed room is tied up and funds that could go to helping REAL Americans are tied up

These freakzoids think that they are entitled because they crawled their smelly useless a$$es under a fence.

Want more examples - how about that slut mexican who refused to give her name to reporters until her skanky baby was born and she was "safe", and then she DEMANDED she be allowed to stay in the US because of the piece crap she gave birth to.

There are thousands of examples of anchor baby families DEMANDING to be allowed to stay here

You wanna really think about something ? Think about what you are saying before you open your fat mouth.

Oh sure. With your preconceived ideas about "these people" and "these countries," I'm sure you don't have a racist bone in your body - or your challenged mind.

I just read the story. If you read it closely, the only reason his decidedly poor family wants him to stay is because of the fear that transporting the man to Mexico may kill him. Their motive is not to dry up the American medical system,(or you for that matter.) They just want their relative not to die. And you find that unreasonable? Incredible.

If you would read my statements, I never suggested that the person be moved. I suggested that there that family of an illegal alien feels that they are entitled.

I have not found any indication that either the family, nor the government, nor the "illegals have rights too" organizations are trying to re compensate the hospital and the peoples of Ill. for the costs. And it's costing the hospital more than it would if this was a legal citizen since they are not able to release the gentleman to a long term care center.

You asked for an example that illegal aliens are "demanding" any rights, and I have given you one.

Go into the ER in Danbury, in hundreds of cities across the country, especially in the south west and you will see illegal aliens "demanding" services. They go to the ER for a cold. Whose pockets do you think this comes from ?

Illegal aliens come over to anchor their babies here, so they can stay and use our social services. And they act as if they are entitled and demand those services.

There was an interview with a spokesperson from Lulac on TV the other day, he went on and on about how unsafe it was to ship this gentleman back. He was asked, a number of times, what his organization is doing to financially support this person. He did not answer - which strongly suggests they were doing absolutely nothing. He was asked what the family was doing to raise money. He was asked what the Mexican government was doing. He ignored these as well. The family and Lulac had to be embarrassed by the press to even say "thank you" to the drs and nurses of the hospital, and this spokesperson then proceeded to insult the hospital (granted I am going way off topic).

This family wants to be treated equal to the immigrants (and notice I use the term immigrants now) who follow the laws, who pay for lawyers, etc, who prove their worth. They demand it. But they are unwilling to pay the same debts. I have friends who legally immigrated, and they hate the illegal aliens as much or more than anyone else, because of this.

But please don't say that illegal aliens do not DEMAND from us. They do it from the moment they break our laws cross the border.

How can people who have no money in the first place make any real offer to pay back a hospital? I don't quite follow the logic of that.

Take a good look at the requirements for legal immigration - it takes a lot of money (which many immigrants don't have and never will get in their country of origin) and a MOUNTAIN of bureaucracy. The legal immigrants by and large have some money in the first place - the illegals are often desperate people who see no other way to make a better life.

No kidding, of course the illegal aliens are often the lower class people - often without any meaningful skills.

However, you might notice that I did not only suggest that the family pay, I suggest that the family try to get help in paying, that the government of Mexico - who would have to absorb the feels for their citizen if he was here he belonged, help out, and that the pro illegal alien activists quite whining and try to actually help the person out, rather than trying for headlines.

There are those in Topix who are quick to point out that many of the people accused of being illegal are not -assuming that is the case why not go after the legal immigrant community and ask them to help their country men out. They sure seem to have a lot of cash to mail home, as we saw from the Federal investigation in Danbury this year.

Take a look at the immigration laws for the countries these people come from, they are often far more strict than ours, or if not they are as strict - they require proof that the applicant be skilled - aka be of benefit to the country and not a drain.

Mexico's laws for immigration include statements to try to ensure:
* have the means to sustain themselves economically;
* not destined to be burdens on society;
* of economic and social benefit to society;
* of good character and have no criminal records; and
* contributors to the general well-being of the nation

My point in bringing up this example was that the challenge was put out - show a single piece of evidence that illegals are making demands on our country. This happens to be a headline case and is proof positive, but we all know there are thousands if not millions of similar examples.

A couple of weeks ago there was the Ecuadorian Independence Day celebration in Danbury, and now someone (although likely a troll) is talking about Brazilian Independence Day. Well - the pro illegal alien groups should be at these events seeking financial support for those who need it - if they REALLY had an interest in helping.

How about that church downtown who like to make such a big deal about helping illegal aliens - rather than mouthing off and buy ads in our papers , why don't they pass around the collection plate, and contact all affiliated churches, and help pay off some of the massive bills that have accrued - if not in Ill, create a fund to help illegals who need the money here - instead of us having our pockets drained.

I have the right to choose who I donate to, and I make substantial donations. With illegals, I am forced to donate to support them - by way of taxes, higher insurance costs, higher medical bills.

Have you ever stopped tho think about the possible reasons that would compel people to leave their homes and families and risk their lives to come here? Have you ever thought about when the migration from Central and South America started? It couldn't possibly have anything to do with the way that NAFTA wrecked their economies (and ours), opening up their ancestral lands to U.S. Agribusiness and forcing them off? Do you think maybe there could possibly be a cause and effect in there somewhere?

SO the good Ole' USA is the evil empire AGAIN. This is the same sad song repeated over and over again. Maybe it is just their poor spending and internal corruptions. Or, was it their lack of intelligence and poor business tactics or did the USA force them to make these bad choices. Please everybody makes excuses and point to other things than themselves.

So you think it's purely a coincidence? One has nothing to do with the other? For a hundred years migrant farm workers came here every season and then went back home, but all of a sudden they all decided to stay and take jobs in meat-packing plants?

Meat packing plants? I do not recall any meat packing plants on my front lawn, nor on the side of roads, or in the back of resteraunts. You are so quit to blame the USA for all the worlds problems. Fact of the matter is we give more to these countries by far than we take. They mis-manage their money on their own. Remember Bucaran! Was that the US fault?

Okay...so how do you figure out which members of the legal immigration community pay for their countrymen? Do you pass the hat to only Ecuadoreans to cover the expenses incurred by illegal Ecuadorean immigrants? Then do you do the same to the Mexicans? Then to the Irish?

And with the plethora of social services to illegal immigrants, the churches have already done PLENTY. Why do you suggest hitting them up for even more?

I think your "solution" does not pass the practicality test in any way.

Did you really think that illegal immigrants come only to Danbury to work? Didn't you hear about the ICE raid in Postville, Iowa at Agriprocessors back in May of this year?
