The US represents a $500 Billion consumer market, of course it is not good for Ecuador. Not to mention the millions sent over in aid. Colombia alone recieves over $150 Million in aid.
It may be better for Ecuador in the sense that they will soon understand what the Cubans have sufferred under Castro. The exiled Cubans are political astute as a result. They know lies when they see them. For some reason Peruvians do to. Maybe Ecuador will overcome this, and won't be so innocent next time.
And the Argentinians and Chilleans and many more South American nations sufferes under superliberals ( under control of US )regimes in these countries. In Chile 30-40000 tortured and killed persons. In Argentina 30000. And what about wars against comunism in Salvador or Nikaragua. In some of these wars were children involved ( they were called up for military service and they fight - 12 years old children ). I know, that it is normal in US, because every person in this country has gun. But it is not understood in the world.
You have your own country and you should involve in your own businesses within it. This is not normal, that one thing, which is brougt by you to world is war and unrest. I suppose, that it is your inner politics. Firstly you try to find some persons, who are obeyed you, promise the positions, agitate this stupid people with all possible neigbours, direct against own nations. And secondly you derive from these countries for nothing. This is crime.

I understand that you may have noble motives, but you know what they say, "the road to hell is paved with people of good intentions." I really feel sorry for Ecuador.
I just feel sorry for people like you I believe you live in Miami, and you go for liposuccion and spas right But I am wondering if you have lived in Ecuador
I dont thing so right. So before you feel sorry for someone else you should be looking about yourself if you done something to help our iliteracy farmers as you people call us but I prefer to be there and not to come to this capitalist word at least down there people does not care about what you have they like you about who you are entiendes

Why are you in Canada? Could it be that it is almost impossible to find a job in Ecuador, thanks to the left and corrupt politicians?

Yes, I feel sorry for what is to come for Ecuador. You obviously have so idea what it is to live under a dictator and how dangerous Correa's actions are. Just wait and see.

Miami is filled with exiles from Latin America who's countries were ruined because of despots like Correa. In the case of Chavez, Morales and Correa there is no going back. I have had Venezuelan friends who have gone to Washington to plea for help against Chavez and the government here refusues to help. Unfortunately, most Americans, including those originally from Latin America aren't concerned about latin America much less a small country like Ecuador. I do care. It is sad how many people in Ecuador are willing to sabotage themselves, thinking they are acting against the US. Nobody here seems to care.
