And everyone says vote Obama Lama. He wants to help every child globally so they are educated and fed. Who do you think will pay for that? And Americans can't send their kids to college.

The doctors probably donated their services; the other costs, operating room ,nursing care is a small price to pay . Two little boys will have a mother there for them .

The only thing that suprises me is the woman came to the USA for treatment, instead of going to Cuba, where the liberals tell us health care is so much superior.

Instead of people reacting as decent "human beings", and being glad that two little children have their mother, you people continue to "bash" the heck out of everything! Although many of you may not realize it, there are many decent, reputable physicians and surgeons who perform procedures for those in need. I know people with absolutely NO INSURANCE in New York, and unfortunately, they have to go to the ER each and every time they are sick. Is this right? No, of course not! We ALL deserve to be able to receive medical treatment, but will a hospital actually turn a patient away with no insurance? What happens when someone is brought in via ambulance after a traffic accident, and is unable to speak? First priority is the patient and their life. We are all human beings, our blood all flows the same, and whether you are a parent in the US, or in another country, a parent's love for their child is the same.

These doctors and nurses are the best of human beings. Why all the negative talk about their good deed? Would just anyone care about another human and offer to help?

What isn't surprising is your lack of reading comprehension skills which is so typical of a bootlicking lemming.

You didn't read the story, did you? Instead, you tried to cash in on an opportunity to proclaim your stupidity by spouting off about liberals.

I'll give you a hint:

But a traveling team of medical volunteers, led by Burbano from Mather Hospital, happened to meet with Franco-Rosero in Ecuador last September through Healing the Children Northeast Inc., a Connecticut based non-profit organization that provides medical services to children throughout the world who lack sufficient access to medical services and Blanca's House of Hicksville, which helped put the trip together.

Two doctors were able to persuade Mather officials to bring Franco-Rosero to Long Island for treatment, after a biopsy showed that the growth was cancerous.

So, you see - this woman didn't 'choose' the U.S. for treatment. The U.S. found her and offered to bring her back here for treatment.

That's a great thing they did but what about people in this country who have similar sickness and have no medical insurance? Who cares for them like that? Does other doctor's come to the states and give free care to any of our citizens? Something is seriously wrong with this picture and this country!

The responses you are complaining about are in reaction to the people patting themselves on the back for helping some poor third world person while they don't give a c r a p about the working poor in this country. So, go ahead pat yourself on the back if it makes you wealthy, liberal doctors feel better about driving their Mercedes paid for by our insurance and tax dollars. As you drive by your fellow Americans busting their arses in their menial jobs with no insurance and no hope of decent medical care - remember that they know exactly what you are all about.
