I know there are close Bush connections to Lilly dating back at least a couple of generations. As for Taurel, I didn't know he was originally from Morocco. As to paying, they have to pay. And they are getting off easy, IMO. If you have a "good" case, I would call your attorney and tell him/her you want to go on your own because of the delay. In the end you will get more money even if it takes longer

I heard from my lawyers today, they say they have not recieved payment yet and it would take two weeks after they receive payment for me to receive anything. So it might very well be October

Talked to my law office today Wed. They said no updates since Monday. They have yet to recieve word that any payments have been made to anyone. Has anyone in NY heard different? I'm beginning to doubt we will ever be paid. Like something will come up before they get any payments out. Anyone share my feelings?

It is easy to give up hope because there have been so many false alarms, but there will be a check of some size depending on whether you were on Medicaid and what state you are in. When is anyone's guess. The lawyers will steal, and Medicaid/Medicare is taking what I think is an unlawful cut, but a check of SOME size will arrive SOME day.

Hello:

Me and my boyfriend is currently waiting for the settlement check from Zyprexa. We received an e-mail from the law firm that is currently handling the case on September 12, 2006. Telling him to get in touch with the office.

There is a problem and I need some advice on the problem if there are any help out here in this forum. He is currently incarcerated and I do not know what to do. I mailed him a letter asking him what should or what can I do to help us get the money that would help him get out of jail. I have not gotten a response back from him yet. I would like to know what can I do while I wait for instructions back from my boyfriend?????? I also, mailed the law firm a letter updating my boyfriend's address as well as requesting that any check that should be mailed, be mailed to the address that I gave. Does anyone out here have any advice to give to me?? I would greatly appreciate this, Thank you and God bless you so much. Please e-mail responses to my e-mail address which is pyoung215@excite.com. Thanks again

In my opinion, if the administrators of Medicare and Medicaid wanted to share in our award they should have made it clear at the beginning of the legal action against Lilly so that the amount asked for would have been enough to cover all these "leins" and also provide us (Remember us?, The original victums?) with a fair compensation for our injuries. Obviously, we did not go through all this trouble and work for over two and a half years, just to be ripped-off by the "Johnney come lately" government. Furthurmore, If the lawfirms knew there would be leins against the award, they should have demanded, on our behalf, an settlement sufficiently high to cover all the aforementioned recepiants.

Already October 18 and still nothing. In fact, I can't even get a hold of the law firm handling my settlement (one of the $5000 Track A--fast track, ha ha). All I get is a recorded message. Lovely. I figure by the time they get their 40% plus whatever other expenses they have, I'll probably owe them money. I feel like an idiot...I just read an article that said the average pay out is $50,000. I must have picked the wrong law firm...
