Eli Lilly sells a drug {ZYPREXA} that can cause diabetes and then turn a profit on the drugs that treat the condition that they may have caused in the first place!

Eli Lilly has made $38 billion on Zyprexa and it was way oversold and caused diabetes and in some cases sudden death.
Eli Lilly has received a huge criminal fine over their Zyprexa cash cow,add it all up comes to $4.6 billion, in Zyprexa settlements, fines, litigation.

Addictive Zyprexa was pushed by Lilly Drug Reps.
They called it the "Five at Five" (5 mg at 5 pm to keep nursing home patients subdued and sleepy) and "VIVA ZYPREXA" (Zyprexa for everybody) campaigns to off label market Eli Lilly Zyprexa as a fix for unapproved usage.
Eli Lilly is 'reaping the whirlwind' for aggressive marketing of Zyprexa that has caused suffering and deaths.
There must be millions out there harmed by this drug.
Did you know that Lilly made $ billions last year on diabetic meds, Actos,Humulin and Byetta?

Yes! They sell a drug that can cause diabetes and then turn a profit on the drugs that treat the condition that they may have caused in the first place!

Everyone who takes anti-psychotic drugs gains weight, it goes with the territory. Bi-polar kids? Schizophrenic kids? Borderline kids? I don't think so. They just don't fit the diagnostic criteria. All that is being presented to docs are kids who no longer are allowed to run around outside and play, do household chores, study and do homework, and interact with their friends other than in structured sports. As someone mentioned above, all kids do today is sit in front of a TV, or computer, or Wii. They are fat because their parents give them junk food because it's faster and easier than preparing real food. It's not the kids that have the problems, it's the parents.

The newer antipsychotic medications prescibed slows down the childs motility of the gastointestinal tract.Of course it causes weight gain and a host of other problems that then can also be treated with a menagerie of other medications.Yet what is important is that the teacher reports your child is sitting quietly in class. Children can benefit from these drugs though they should not be used as chemical restraints for the convenience of parents and schools of which is occuring with these medications.

Daily Horoscope for December 26

Capricorn

Mercury retrograde in your sign will cause some friction between you and other people during coming weeks. Matters that have been bubbling away in the background will come to the boil, forcing you to do something about them. Try not to overreact, nor to create a crisis out of something that's really very minor. You should also keep a strong sense of fair play and pay attention to every little detail.
