Zyprexa claims being stonewalled
Where is the (now up to)$4.6 billion Eli Lilly Zyprexa settlement going as many victim claimants haven't been paid yet? It's the largest pharma-fraud-whistleblower case in US history.

There must be millions out there harmed by this drug.

Recent studies have found that atypical antipsychotics used to control agitation in aggressive Alzheimer patients (chemical straight-jacket) have unacceptable risk.

At 5 to ten times the cost of the old standby thorazine, recent comparative studies show the diabetes inducing zyprexa class of drugs are only borderline better in controlling symptoms.

Health Plan May Cost Lilly Millions for Rebates Bloomberg

By Tom RandallFeb. 26 (Bloomberg)-- Eli Lilly & Co. would lose “several hundred million” dollars in annual U.S. sales if a health care plan proposed today by President Barack Obama is approved, the company said.

The biggest impact will be on Zyprexa, the Indianapolis- based drugmaker’s best-selling mood stabilizer for schizophrenia,

Zyprexa Lilly cash cow in billion dollar litigation

WARNING-
If a drug (Zyprexa) lists anything about the pancreas among the side effects, it probably means it can cause diabetes.
Unlike your liver, the pancreas does not regenerate itself. If it gets damaged, diabetes is very likely.
Zyprexa is glorified Thorazine at ten times the price

Dear Danny,

Diabetes is horrible enough, but horrible Zyprexa also causes sudden onset of pancreatitis. Most likely, a person will have diabetes if he/she has pancreatitis. Let's get this horrible drug off the market. Any ideas about lobbying? How to go about it?

Hi Danny, hang in there...I'm a little slow. but I just figured why EL wanted the claimants to sign a hush clause, because there patent will run out in the next 15 months or so, so what reputable company will but the patent for generic zyprexa with all the deaths, and ruining of people's lives surrounding this controversaldeath trap of a drug, it all makes sense to me now..It still does not explain the holdup of the monies from the lawsuit. When a lawsuit is settled it should not take people five or more years to be paid...There should be some kind of law about this, I wonder where if at all if we can research this?

I see no reason to respect there clause of not anouncing my case payout when they offer me four thousand dollars for over two years of taking the medication....
side effects- excessive weight gain three operations- ect...
the price of life in Eli-Lily's eye thirteen thousand dollars is what they are willing to offer someone who has died as a result of taking Zyprexa- the payout from my lawyer 40% of my settlement- he stands to walk away with five million dollars on the blood of this drug, how long will we lay down before we refuse to fall by these huge corporations deceitful practices?

I will not settle....In the terms of the paperwork in the fine print is enough of the people in this settlement refuse to settle then Eli Lily will have to offer another settlement...I hope people have courage and stand! I know only of my own pain and loss to this drug, I have seen so many more that have lost so much more to this company, it is not right, by GOD someone has to come forward and stand for US.....Not these greedy lawyers who are no better than them..

Eli Lilly Zyprexa no money yet

Daniel Haszard is a hero Zyprexa whistle-blower,many of the claimants who signed up for the original 8,000 class action Eli Lilly Zyprexa lawsuit haven't had their cases resolved yet.
Lilly made us all sign gag orders so we can't speak out now.
Everybody seems to be getting paid-out except the real victims.
Lilly pays $10 million to 8 of their own EMPLOYEE so called 'whistle-blowers'.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Aries

Don't get embroiled in a bad-tempered skirmish today, for it might turn into more than that if you aren't careful. Everyone seems to be ratty and argumentative, but once you let the first spat take place it's effectively declaring open season. Even though things seem out-of-joint, keep your lines of communication open.
