I've been on the Emsam patch for a month and I'm having severe rashes from it- big welts now in 5 spots. Has anyone taken the pill form? Are there more side effects?

dr just wrote script, hard to find and was told with ins $161 for 30 days or $268 for 90 days, not sure if medicaid will pick up anything.
not sure if i should even start it!
i have social anxiety, not depression.

It's a hard decision to make. On one hand you have a hard time meeting new people but the side effects of the medication can leave you uninterested in sex.

I have a couple of online friends with social anxiety. You are certainly not alone with this condition.

Have you been on any meds before? It can help you have the confidence to meet someone and maybe after you are comfortable with them you can taper off your dosage. Ask your doctor before you do though. Some meds have side effects if you go off them too fast.

Had a friend who destroyed her relationship because of Wellbutrin [aka bupropion]- it changes your core identity and blunts feeling of love and affection [sex is great yes but it's just passion not love]
