I'm trying to follow the posts in this and the oxy one too because even my registered email doesn't show my posts on here? Which completely baffled me...

So. Why is everyone banned?

Who are the people that decide this?

What's and how does one use a proxy thing?

Oh I'm also looking for f2f in central Texas area too.

Obviuosly...everyone isn't banned.

Topix has mods. If someone reports someone for making inapropriate posts...a mod can delete their account and posts.

There are conspiracy theorists who believe the mods are part of an elaborate scamming cartel. It may be true, and it may not be true.

Bottom line is that Topix isn't the most well-run website, and weird things occur often.

They aren't banned, they just have to re-register with a new name and new bogus e-mail address.

There are a number of proxy-changing programs out there that make it look like your posting from somewhere other than where you actually are.

Do you remember a while back all of the sudden one day there was someone posting as a moderator on here? they had the little moderator logo and everything. Was weird never saw him again after that day. This was maybe a year or two ago

Sorry, I've heard of Tor but don't know how it works.

There are other simpler programs out there that will change your location without the complexity of TOR.

There's a couple of good conversations on the Oxy board. I've whittled it down to 1 or 2 that I'm responding on.

I'm not worried about anyone stalking me...I'm a professional ignorer when properly motivated. Thanks for the warning, though.

No offense taken, BTW. I'm not easily offended either.
