When will Rolaids be available again? I cannot find them at Wal Mart, CVS, Walgreens, etc. I can get the small 3 roll packages, but I want the big bottles.

I feel its taking entirely too long to restock the stores with Rolaids in the bottles. Its almost been 2 months. Wake up Mr. manufacturer. If I have to buy some other brand, I ain't coming back. You will have lost my business for keeps. I'm sure others feel the same way.

Just finished going to all the stores in town,including 2 Walgreens,no one knows when they will get anymore Rolaids in,what is the hold up? All the other products out there are nasty tasting and chalky.I want Rolaids back,if i have to take something else i will never go back,i will just live with it,as i feel you don't care enough about our needs.You will lose alot of bussiness as i am not the only one who feels this way.

I am outraged that Rolaids is acting this way. Don't they know the meaning of customer loyalty? Apparently they don’t give a ####. I complained to them that I, as a 100% disabled service connected vet who has available some very high priced antacids available to me free from the VA , choose to use Extra Strength Rolaids and have been buying the big bottles for years. I prefer the Rolaids over other products too, like Tums – hate em.

I wrote to Rolaids and had calculated how much more I have been paying for the 3 roll packs since the recall and it is over $25 the difference in cost between bottles and 3 roll packs. What did they do? Sent me $12 worth of coupons that must be spent in a particular way to be used. At least its something but why not all of what they have cost me in this game of theirs? I told them I keep every receipt for everything I buy and can prove how much I have spent on Rolaids over these past years and exactly how many dinky packs I have bought.

One manager in a Rite Aid told me that we can expect a hefty price increase when they finally return to the shelves, and that this is a ploy to make us forget what we were paying before and prey on our predicament and, dare I say it?- our dependence on their product?

I can tell you this. If the price increase is more than 3% it’s back to Protonix (pantoprazole sodium) from the VA for me! I do not like the side effects of these “prazoles” but I would prefer it to the certain bitter aftertaste using Rolaids would produce after being manipulated by the b***ards that make ‘em.

In fact I am almost there now, having wasted so much time with these vermin.“Funny taste in the bottles from the wood in the pallets? Sure! What total BS!

If their bottles can soak up stinky wood smell then what else can they suck up – stinky toxic chemicals?

Rolaids can go take a long walk on a short pier in my opinion.

Well I have bought bottles of Tums and they don't friggin' work. I want my Rolaids back. The little ones in the rolls don't work either, I have to take like four at a time...I want my Rolaid's back!!! After almost 3 months I wonder if they are going out of business or what. I never smelled anything funny about my Rolaids.

I really miss the big bottles of Rolaids also. I have to buy the 3 rolls and they just don't last as long as the bottle. Please bring back my bottle of rolaids.

Let see....how can any company change manufacturing source overnight and replace millions of bottles get them distributed. Safe and correct?? It can't be done that quick. It takes days just to ship let alone make it. I'm for one just glad its coming back!!!!

Richard - do you know if they are giving $$ back on Rolaids that were purchased? I was directed to the McNeil Product Recall website, but all that is there is Tylenol and such, not one thing about Rolaids! I had been buying them in the 12 pack rolls to resell at my restaurant, but they've been absent in all stores because of the recall so now I have nothing to sell. I will discontinue keeping them on the counter is the price is increased. It's just not profitable. I have receipts for the ones that I did buy (at Sam's Club) but no where do I see where I can get refunded or get coupons or whatever!

When they added new recall to site, the old menu choices got lost, but info is still available if you Google Rolaids recall or find "recall of Jan 10" in their menus...takes you here-- http://www.mcneilproductrecall.com/page.jhtml... --I emailed thru "Contact" asking how to submit my info for Rolaids (mentioning all the detail in the email, including my name & address) and after quite awhile, they replied that they didn't make what I was asking for (new person???) I explained everything again in reply and they (after quite awhile again) sent email saying they were sending me "compensation". That just arrived in the form of a coupon for up to $6 off for each bottle I had.

Soooo...I have this coupon that Rolaids sent me to reimburse me for the bad bottle of Rolaids I purchased (recall). Problem is like many of you have expressed you can't find the bottles of Rolaids anywhere. The coupon will be expiring this year. What are we suppose to do with a coupon that can't be used??? Are they going to keep issuing new coupons until Rolaids are re-stocked - DOUBT IT?

I have also looked everywhere I could think of here in moncton & haven't been able to find bottles of rolaids for quite a long time...they are the only antacid tablet that my boyfriend & i use & we want them back in bottles also!

Here in Tupelo, I can't find any Rolaids except the chewy kind. Yuk! I hate the taste of tums and the only other kind that actually help me is the Pepcid and they are freaking expensive.

I am really disgusted that it's taking this long to get Rolaids back on the shelves. 8 months or more???? Please...nothing else works for me like X-Strength Rolaids! I can buy the rolls only...when are the bottles coming back???? This seems like it is dragging out forever!!!!!! I don't understand why it would take this long!!!!
