Anyone getting nipple discharge from Topamax?

I am getting breast pain and nipple discharge. The only drug I take is Topamax and I have been cleared via mammogram and ultrasound of breast issues. I also have normal prolactin levels. I have heard that psychotropic drugs can cause this problem. Anyone out there have this issue other than me?

I am having this issue. I wasn't sure which med was causing it, but now I am convinced it's the Topamax. I had the mamogram as well. Since it's not killing me, I don't plan on doing anything about it.

I have been on topamax for about 4-5 years now and I have also been cleared thru mammogram and a breast specialist. The specialist told me that topamax can cause nipple discharge, mine is as if my milk was going to come in but my children are 16 so I know that's not the case,lol. However it is very inconvient to have this issue. It can be embarrassing, leaking thru your shirt when your not even breast feeding and don't have a baby. What if anything can be done? The topamax really helps with my migraines, I use to get so many b4 and now I don't. If you hear anything helpful please pass it along.

I have the same problem, I was begining to wonder if i was pregnant! I did not go to the doctor for it yet, I was just trying to look it up online when i found your post, if you find anything else out let me know!

I have been on the generic of topamax (topirimate) for a couple of yrs now, 125mg. I have cronic migraines that really knock me out, this is the only med, other than injections that helps. What led me to this site, is I was noticing leaking in my right nipple also, well, it can be expressed. However, i had a benign lump removed from my left breast 2.5 yrs ago before taking topamax, and that breast started with the same symptoms. I was looking for info and saw that my medication could be causing it. I never want "cancer" to be the diagnosis!! who does right? Obviously i will check with my Dr. and bring this to his attention. Otherwise, topamax is a godsend for me... best of luck to you ladies :)

I just started taking this last week and have currently increased to 100mg a day and I feel like my breasts are getting larger has anyone had this problem? Def. NOT PREG!

I'm currently having the leaking in both of my breasts and i'm taking topamax 200mg for mood disorder. I've had a partial hysterectomy for 3 years so it threw me for a loop when it started happening.. My mom, even made me take a pregnancy test. It really doesn't bother me so i will continue to take it.

I'm thinking of doing the same thing with my medication. The meds is expensive, but there is a generic version available overseas.
I love the idea of taking responsibility for my own health (or lack of health) and skipping the bureaucracy... to say nothing of having to drive to the doctor, wait in line, yet again, to get a prescription refilled.
