I would love to know for sure when it will be available, who will be making it and how exactly do I approach my doctor again for her to write me a new script for it?
this topic has been bouncing around for so long and they so no one has it and my doctor even said no one was prescribing it. I am at my wits end. any ideas????

phenobarbital are a bit different, mostly used for seizures, they are more fat soluable and you have to build up a certain level. Unlike the nembutal, seconal, and infamous tuinal. tTuinal is awsome for those of us with high tolerances to any medications because it is a combination of two different meds (reds and blues) they seem to have a better effect.

some things maybe go by different names in different areas. I remember one I believe it was seconal but it was candy coated like a one a day vitamin. Same potency as the old Lily F-40's. Yes Im afraid some of us are very old school. Its just we know what worked then but they change companies and names of meds so often you just dont know what to ask for. I have tried so many different meds to try to get a nights sleep but nothing has worked the the old school meds.

i want to get some barbituates nebutal or seconal darvon ect quaaludes as i dont think that they are made now i am in canada also as they are strict you have to get tryplicates for anything heavy please give me a place too look and i dont wabnt people telling me you should not take that or what ever as i hope to hear from some one soon

I have used Seconal to sleep for years and years maybe 2 days a week if needed. Its the only real sleeping pill, I have tried everything and cant find anything else. My doctor now will not prescribe the drug due to the hassle he says but thats ridiculous in my opinion.
Is there a doctor in southern california willing to help someone without the lazy excuses?. I have never abused any drug but the few that have screwed everyone else.
Let me know if anyone knows a good doctor dealing with sleep disorders like mine in So cal

I've been on seconal my entire life and had to
deal with hostility and ignorance from pharmacists.
I do recall every time seconal wasn't available due to
new companies taking over. Fortunately, I never experienced
withdrawals but my ability to sleep well wasn't so good on
other meds. I have had every drug prescribed for my insomnia
but seconal was the only drug that worked w/o side affects
or hangover.
Seconal has been available but the price for 60 capsules is over
$1000. I do get a check from "NORD" but it's not much. I truly
believe that pharmacists think they're able to have the final
decision as to whether you're going to get your seconal script
filled. I've given up on arguing with them or trying to educate
there immature and oversized egos.
Good luck to the physicians who are prescribing seconal and to
the patients trying to have the script filled.
