Risperdal: Does it make it hard to talk and hurt and change your voice?

I noticed while on Risperdal my voice changed like the quality and pitch of it. Does anyone know if this is a side effect from Risperdal. It sounds horrible it doesn't sound like me and it has been like this from 6-8 weeks and hasn't gone away. Also I have a dry mouth and throat is this from the Risperdal also and could this be the cause of my changing and hard to speak? Can someone plz answer me i'm going crazy here cannot get a job or interview until my voice comes back the way it used to be and help would be appreciated!!! Thank you.

Being a stuttere since age six, it's always a challenge anyway. I have notice that my stuttering has changed for the worse a bit since being on Risperdal. Also, my throat and lips get very dry and constatly crave fluids.

My mother also experiences a shaky voice and also stutters when she talks since taking risperidone! I definately think it is a side affect of the drug.

It made my mothers tongue stick completely out of her mouth a really weird side effect she also would stare into the sky or ceiling uncontrollably.

Hmmm, I have a friend who takes this for non-psych related issues...and has now been diagnosed with tourettes also...funny coincedence?? No I think side effect of the drug..
why can't drs. admit when a drug is harming more than helping? don't they even begin to wonder what the LONG TERM effect to the brain will be? Not to mention other organs..why are drs. allowing BIG PHARMA to kill us!?
