Ropinirole or Requip

I am looking for records of use "ROPINIROLE" with their diffférentes updates, since marketing on the American market so far.
I look for information about side effects.
This is necessary in order to compare them with the references used in France since 1997.

`I have had restless leg symdrome for years. It runs in my family plus I take 100mg. Prozac and Pamalor 50 mg. a day. I was told that some of these drugs can cause restless leg syndrome. I have it during the day and at night. When they started me on Requip it was a God send. I finally could site and read, go to a movie without standing in the back of a theater and could relax. My medical insurance now makes me use the gereric "Ropinirole" and I'm finding I do not get the long term relief that I was getting with the Requip. Maybe it gets absorbed differintly than the Requip. The Requip seemed to give me relief for a longer period of time. I take 1mg. twice a day and it does not make me sleepy at all. I don't notice any side effects just that it gives me relief that I had not had in years.
