Does anyone have experieince in treating depressive symptoms, anxiety and accute insomnia after very limited reglan use. IV in emergency room and one 10 mg.pill later? Intense persistent effects one week after treatment. Are there any solutions out there? Write hornfam@comcast.net

Susan- did you ever find out anything regarding reglan's side effects? I am going through the same experience now and it is awful. I would appreciate any information you were able to find out. Nancy

I got it all too, bad. I bought some Domiperidone from Canada and it doesn't seem to have any side effects on me at all. It was about $30 total. You can read about it at www.digestivedistress.com They have a forum there. You cannot get Domiperidone in the US because of some breastfeeding problem associated with it.

I was put on Reglan for three months and ended up with Tardive Dykinesia (involuntary leg and mouth movement) as well as serious anxiety attacks. My deep depression went away after coming off Reglan but attacks keep on. Have tried numerous anxiety pills with limited success. Be careful as some of them are as dangerous as Reglan. Look up Paxil and you'll see what I mean. Good luck to us all. Anyone with any good news please share it

My symptoms subsided with time. I refused to take any medicine after getting worse on zoloft. It was ruff. I still don't feel normal, but I can function after 3 years. It just seems to go away slowly.

I took reglan for 2 months and experienced the anxiety and depression. It's the worst thing I ever went thru. I didn't know it was the reglan doing it. I am on Paxil for a couple of months and it's really helping me. I hope to be off it soon. This drug should be off the market!!!

my doctor put me on paxil, then lamictal. Another GI dr. put me on Reglan. I have had the worst jitters ever. Should I stop any of these meds. I can not go on feeling so nervous and jittery. Thank you.

I had been taking Reglan for almost 5 months (10MG 4 x a day) and almost as soon as I stopped, I got hit with pretty bad depression and anxiety. I'm looking into treatment with my doctor...afraid of getting put on another drug (antidepressant) to fix it. This is a terrible feeling though.

I was prescribed Reglan to increase my milk supply for breastfeeding. After only taking it for 1 day (1 pill 3x daily) I became extremely anxious and could not sleep! I have a 4 month baby at home and it made me not want to hold or be with my baby. I just felt not like myself at all but thought that it could just be postpartum feelings! ITS NOT!!!! That evening I had total insomnia. The next day at work I had SEVERE panic attacks and wanted to drive myself to the ER. This all came on over a matter of just 1 day with no warning signs...SCARY! I called my doctor and she told me to come in immediately and told me to stop the REGLAN and I am just one of the "few" to experience these side effects. She prescribed me Zanez in the meatime to calm the anxiety and stop the panic attacks until the REGLAN is all out of my system and it seems to be working really well! Good luck to you all out there! I am NEVER going to take this medication ever again!

In Mar, 2007 I was prescribed Reglan for my Chrons when Zelnorm was discontinued. At the same time I started experiencing problems w/my menstrual cycle. My Dr. treated me for peri-menopause and PMMD disorder and put me on depression and anxiety medicine (I had no previous history of anxiety and depression) but I kept getting worse not better. By June 08 I literally wanted to drive my car off a bridge. For 18 long months it was like that. I didn't figure it out until I changed the time of day I took the Reglan. Then I looked up the side effects and immediately stopped it. I got to feeling a lot better but it took another 4 mos. to cycle off all the other drugs I was on. I honestly believe had I been 35 not 43 I would have been diagnosed correctly sooner. But because of my age I was automatically categorized into peri-menopause. This should be a warning for all women to take charge of your health and not be afraid to question your doctors judgment.

I took Reglan for one day and felt like I wanted to crawl out of my own skin. I had a panic attack at work and very nearly went to ER it was so bad. That was after TWO pills. I can't imagine what it would have been like had I continued taking it. I have added Reglan to my drug allergy list at my doctor's office and will NEVER take this medication again.

Daily Horoscope for December 7

Aquarius

You're full of energy and determination right now, especially when it comes to nailing an ambition or making a name for yourself. You'll want to give it your best shot, and you'll get very annoyed if you feel your efforts are being frustrated by others. Watch out for a rather tense atmosphere with someone older or more influential than you, as this could lead to a row.
