Just curious if anyone experienced this or researched it. My daughter 4 1/2 has asthma and now my 2 1/2 old son has it. Xopenex and Orapred was used to calm and eventually eliminate the attacks. He had a baseline x-ray showing changes/markings on part of his lungs so
his physician wants to have him either on Pulmicort once daily via nebulizer or if it's more inexpensive he can have a Flovent 44 inhaler with an air chamber and mask. I've read the dangers for Flovent and also was told to purchase a spacer for the chamber because the chemical used to propel the Flovent will irritate his throat. I feel I should just stick with the Pulmicort as it has helped my daughter from getting her attacks. Another question... I didn't feel that the Singulair was helping my daughter so I switched her to Claritin. My son is also taking Claritin once daily. This seems to help take away the runny nose and coughing. Anyone else have input on allergy medications? Thanks. |

I used Flovent one time for my bronchitis and I threw up all night after I used it. I wouldn't recommend it.
