When I first started taking prozac everything was fine but I noticed something that made me quit.

One day I was backing out of a parking space and saw a person in my rearview mirror glaring at me and all of a sudden I got so Mad I could have killed him and it took everything I had to control myself and not get out of my truck and go after him.

I felt all flushed and as if I were in a rage.

I had never gotten that angry at anyone in my whole life.

I've got a feeling something is wrong with these pills that control the release of seratonin.

And the problem is, I believe, that when you normally get angry your seratonin levels rise but to a controllable degree but if you are taking Prozac or something akin to it when you get angry then your seratonin levels rise so high so fast it may throw some people like myself into a rage.

My advice is if you've noticed that yourself or someone you know gets extremly mad at times and is on Prozac be very careful around them because they may not be able to control themselves when getting angry.

Oh! I have had no more such instances as I quit taking Prozac the same day this happened to me.

To Bugs:

see www.cchr.org

This will give a list (1,000's) of other people who have been so effected by this sham they call a drug.

There are quite a number of class actions going forward and there are survivor networks who will give you more advice.

do well

BE WARNED!!!

THE CCHR IS A "FRONT" TO THE CULT OF $CIENTOLOGY. All opinions they express are extremely biased towards the anti-psychiatry movement.

Scientology strictly prohibits the use of any "drug", legal or not. They "treat" drug users by forcing you to go "cold turkey" and give you a literal over-dose of vitamins.

btw your quote of "1000's" is probably very wrong, the "Church" (read as CULT) is known to overly exaggerate their numbers, be it member count or length of SeaOrg contract LOL.

Plus, I wonder if he ever thought that maybe people were either looking for credible medical advice or those that had been through it.

I was in prozac for 15 years. Do not quit cold turkey. Ever. You d ont have to stay on it forever but go very slowly and precisely down in dose. It's a terrible, terrible idea to say "well this is dangerous so I'll just quit." because suddenly quitting throws you even more out of whack. I never attacked anyone except when I was going on or coming off Prozac. In other words - when taking it steadily I was FINE, and when not taking it I was FINE but watch out for that middle bit. You can hurt people. Go slow. 2.5 milligrams less every 4 days.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aquarius

There simply aren't enough hours in the day today for you to do everything that's on your list, so concentrate on the priorities. Don't feel guilty about what's been left out and start to worry about it. This isn't an easy day because you're feeling pressured and anxious, so don't expect too much from yourself. There's less energy than usual, which doesn't help.
