I can only say that Provigil has added to the quality of my life! After taking Zoloft for years, my MD added 200 mg to my "cocktail" and I've been much more productive, focused, and happy. I've been taking it for 2 years with no side effects. On the days I don't take it, I find it hard to drag myself out of bed. I don't feel speedy nor jittery. Right now I'm annoyed that my insurance will no cover cover it and am trying to find ways to purchase it cheaper. I've never done this and in my "hunt", I've come across the "controversy".

For many years I have battled with depression and cocaine/crack addiction. Thus far, this medication has enabled me to feel like "doing the things" a normal person would do. Getting out of bed would seem like a tremendous task- with provigil and other anti-depressants I do feel a benefit.

I've been taking Provigil for three years for IH. I too have wranggled with my insurance company to cover Provigil. In 2003 the i.c. agreed to cover it after several letters from me and phone calls from my neurologist to establish "medical neccessity". It's an uphill battle and I am repeating the process now. Have you had any luck?

hi Dave, I had the same problem but I ve found a way to get modafinil at a very low price. I mean real modafinil, no fakes. I ve been taking some for 5 years. It has changed my life. I suffer from hypersomny and I must say that after trying amphetamins etc... with all the side effects they carry, I was more than happy to have access to modafinil which is a real miracle. i can get at a very low price and not through the internet. Get in touch if u wanna know more.

I have found Provigil helped me in many ways. I am also Bipolar. It has helped w/ that. I have energy, and get things done.
When I was so depressed, I didnt get anything done. Does anyone know though, is Provigil kind of like an appetite suppressant? I dont feel as hungry when taking it. Can you lose weight?
Please let me know.
Thank you.
You can email me at cookeezncreem07@yahoo.com

Where does everyone get there Modafinil from?

I really need to try it as I've been feeling very lethargic and tired lately and it is affecting my concerntation.

I've tried ordering from RX2World.com but it was impounded by customs (Sweden).

Not sure about first-pharmacy as haven't heard anyones experience with them.

Before you knock yourself out trying to get Provigil, bear in mind that neither this drug nor its successor, Nuvigil, are harmless. Far from it. Just google myocarditis + hypersensitivity + Provigil anad read how just a few months after she began taking Provigil, a young woman with no prior history of heart disease developed myocarditis. She was dead in less than 48 hours.

I started Provigil two days ago, and it hasn't helped with my hypersomnia yet. i do feel a lot better mentally, and I can feel the dark cloud dissipating. My question is: How long after starting this med does it really start to work?

It worked for me immediately. The day after the first dose I woke up ready to do things and feeling great. Prior to that it would take me a long time just to get going.

Can you tell me how to get Modafinil at a low price? My insurance company suddenly stopped covering it and it costs me $80 for 10 tablets.
Thanks.

Virgo

Venus enters your third house of communication, giving you the words to express yourself now. You can really get your point across over the next few days, so be sure to clear up any misunderstandings. Problems at work can be hammered out, but expect a few days of tension as Mercury chafes against the pressure of imperious Jupiter.
