Even if your doctor gives you a new script, he must write "override" on the bottom of it and the pharmacy will look at the police report to verify the override. If your doctor doesn't want to write a replacement script you are SOL. You could try your local emergency room, again with the proof of theft. Good luck.. Just remember to tell your doc to write override or override for theft purposes, ect ect on the script if he replaces it. I've had drs give me replacements and one that didnt even with reports so its all up to the doc.

Sounds like this won't be your only problem. <quoted text> Yep, you are one of those people that has tripped my warning, danger alarm. . Actually my good friend started posting stuff on here I dont want to do anything stupid that's why I posted this she was trying to help but I don't want to do funky stuff I'm s legit patient and my pills were actually stolen been going to the same rx and doc always so I Don't need to do dumb things she works in a docs office and was just trying to help me out as for the contract yes I signed one and I believe it does say only one time replacement

wouldratherdoit wrote: Sorry to hear of your problems. If you have signed an opiate contract it will probably be covered in it. Mine says one time and one time only. I am sure it depends on the doctor and patient but be careful. And I can't tell you what your pharmacy will do for sure but I am sure there is a policy and reports there too so if it happens again you may be SOL both ways around. Either find the ultimate hiding spot or it may be worth it to buy a decent bolt down safe and always keep half locked away. Yea I do need to get a lock box I think it was my step sister who has had a pill problem in the past that took them I gave the officer info but he said that they can't just search her home I know my contract states one time replacement I just hope they don't drop me after
