I've been on oxycodone for 3 years and tried everyting. Fiber made it worse even thought i drink a gallon of water a day.

Its over the counter. It used to be script based, but it now OTC.

It works. Try it. its great and the only thing that ever worked for me.

Ive tried everything- the only thing that works is the saline solution they give you before colonoscopy and that wreeks havoc inside for 2 days or more.
You are the first ive heard say "fiber makes it worse" but i agree. It just gives you more friggin volume that aint moving!!

I bought Miralax like you adviced and it works great. It took about three days and then it was just like being normal. I've taken a break and am going to try skipping a couple days and then three days again...

holy! when i was taking like 200-220mg a day i was a zombie!

i have a new problem now, the lactulose+senakot and eating prunes is not working. i am going to the washroom late in the evening once a day and its the mini jagged poo balls, very little, way less then what i eat.

now what do i do? i just want to sit on the can for days and clear my system out, but its blocked!

I hate to be graphic, but it may be time for a "home enema". You can find the necessary items in the drug stores...good luck...we all have the constipation problem and it is a big problem....

What about your doctor? Have you mentioned this to him? Have you tried supositories, they usually help for some relief.

sex life is actually probably better, I do not have the drive like before but everything works on command, and I can go a LOT longer. Its like more control. I actually work as a mechanical engineer/designer. I function normally on this level of meds. I have participated in several clinical studies for medications for opioid induced constipation. Currently there is not a drug manufactured to treat this. The trials usually use drugs designed for I.B.S. in much higher doses than what is prescribed to most women who use it for I.B.S.

it sounds just horrible...but i just try to eat as little ad possible...(not that im hungry anyhow) im not taking nearly as much as onyone on this forum but enough to nottice problems. but if u keep taking different scripts to cover problems from different scripts soon ull be taking sumthing that helps the soar stomach that u get from taking the thing that helps u shit becasue ur constiapted from the thing that helps ur pain..n the list will go on.
