AND took my INS. Finally did not get raked over the coals on pricing like the last 4-5 months. what i paid the last few months is more than i spent ALL of last year for my medications. i will be transferring all of my prescriptions to this particular chain.

I am not going to reveal my "job" but there is ABSOLUTELY no shortage. Scripts brought to the pharmacy that are from a doctor that is located on the other side of the state are 95% of the time going to be turned down. Also when you come into the store and are in your 20's to 30's dressed and appear sloppy that again is a 95% chance of being turned away. Major chains dont want those customers. SOME independtly owned pharmacies will sill them at a HIGHER price. Normal cash price for #100 Oxycodone 30mg the fair/normal market price of normal profit puts the price around $160, and the cost to the pharmacy is approx.$40 per #100. The stock bottles only come in a QTY of 100. Another BIG thing is if the script in from south FL, especially Ft. Lauderdale most wont fill those as well bc of all the bad press and corruption of Drs. from that area. Hope this sums up all yalls reasons why all of you are having difficulty with getting you scripts filled. Lastly DO NOT bring in a script for 30mg and 15mg at the same time , and remember all major chains computers are linked nationwide, so they know if youve been to their other stores

When someone shows up at my pharmacy in Florida with an out-of-state D/L and with their brother, their cousin, their aunt and their dog with all with prescriptions for 300+ tablets of oxy 15s and 30s from the same doctor a hundred plus miles away, have no indications of any pain management issues, what am I supposed to think???" You think exactly what it is - drug addicts, drug dealers, and pill mill recipients. There was a chain of 4 pharmacies in Kissimmee that were providing for the bigger mills that were finally shut down, and all 4 had lines inside to the parking lot, all with scripts from the same "pain clinic". All day from open to close, lines outside. If you haven't ever witnessed this pill mill fiasco, you have no idea the extent of it. They have got to be shut down any way possible and if you are a true cpp, then you wouldn't be in these places anyway. There are very legitimate pain clinics in every state if you are legitimately in pain. These are not. you say" WHEN SOMEONE SHOWS UP AT MY PHARMACY IN FLORIDA", what do you mean your pharmacy? are you going to florida to a dr. to get your scripts? Cause your posts clearly state LEXINGTON, KENTUCKY, so you are in kentucky, but you are downing people that I see writting on here about pill mills, etc. but it looks like you are doing the same thing, you are going to a dr. down there, if you have a pharmacy down there, why else would you say "MY PHARMACY"???

Hey girl! I know. I am so sick of all those jerks using just to get high! I live on the east coast in central florida and cannot find not one pharmacy who has them. It's sad that people who are really in pain are having to drive houts so that they are not hurting every day. If you could email me the list, I would be soooooooo greatful. My email is tillers57@yahoo.com and again thank you. Roximanda wrote: hey all iv got a list of pharmicy's in Ft lauderdale and the surrounding areas pompino, miami ect. all over that side of the state that a Dr. is handing out when he writes scripts for any pain meds, these are pharm's that are known to be pretty solid as far as having things in stock and if they dont have them when you call or go in they will hold your script and fill it as soon as the next batch comes in about 24hrs or so, i have it scaned as a PDF file if you want it then email me and i will send you the list mandyalissa@aol.com i would type it up and post it but this board will not allow you to post phone #'s Please don't bother me if you are just a dealer or junkie trying to get them to abuse or sell, true people in P.M. trying to get through life only. Just trying to help anyone i can not be in pain, there is nothing worse in life then truly being in pain and having a script to do something about it yet not be able to get it filled. I feel for you all, good luck and god bless. Manda

There are no pharmacies here with roxis for less than $3.50 per pill at the cheapest. Most places are $4-7 if they actually have them

WOW, I go to a pharmacy in West Memphis and get 180 roxy 30's mallies even for $69.97 every month. I always hear of people driving to Florida and going to 3-4 doctors and coming back here to fill all their scripts usually they have like a thousand mallies at once. Sorry my fellow Memfricans are doind that to you Floridians

Piercit, I have seen some of your posts on this topic on another thread and I live in the same city as you, PSL. Can you please help me out with a pharmacy that will fill oxycodone 30mg? I have a legitmate paper script and have been on this medication since February. I have been in PM for two years. The only pharmacy I've found that has them says they need to call my doctor as he is in Kissimmee, FL. The only reason I have to see a doctor out of county is because my old doctor quit and I am pregnant. Pregnancy doesn't make CP stop and oxycodone is actually a pregnancy class B and relatively safe. Please help me if you can! Thanks!

I didn't say "my pharmacy" that was a quote from another poster. Calm down. I don't have a pharmacy in Florida nor do I travel there for pills. You are correct about Lexington, Kentucky, though.

I am a pharmacist in FL. "My pharmacy" is where I work. The rest of the quote is from someone else. I have to say, after almost a year of dealing with this, I am in a quandry. I want to help patients with legit pain management issues. But I don't want to give oxys to drug dealers and drug addicts. My quandry is I can't tell with certainty, most of the time, who is who. My employer doesn't give me the tech help to fill prescriptions for every patient who calls or brings in scripts for oxy... no less be a narc investigator to try to sort it out. Just the other day, a patient called that seemed legit. I told her come on down. She shows up with two "friends" with the exact same scripts. Oxy 30s, 15s and Xanax 2 mg. Almost 1,000 tablets between the three of them. I make a few calls and find out they are getting the same scripts from another pharmacy and different doctor. Almost an hour of my time wasted that I could have been helping real patients. I was not happy to say the least. I turned it all, including copies of their IDs, over to law enforcement. Then I had another patient with nine scripts for various diagnosis, one was oxy 30. She saw a doctor whose prescribing history is reasonable. The prescriptions showed a very good picture of her situation.(She was an injured veteran with PTSD). So I took care of her. OK. 9 is overkill. But if oxy and z-bars are all you are getting, you're going to raise flags. Another guy flew to FL from OH and was on a deadline for his flight back to OH. HEY! We pharmacists know what's going on! We're not stupid. So does FL and your state's law enforcement and TSA. If you're flying here with a lot of cash and flying home with a lot of oxys, you might want to stop. You are under surveilance and will be caught. You're looking at 10-15 years. So what do I do? Until FL law enforcement and dept of health gets these pill mill doctors under control and our state-wide databsae goes into effect, I am joining the 99.4% of my collegues and "out of stock" unless that patient is one of our regulars and I know their situation. If you can convince me in about 30 seconds that you might be legit and I have the time, I will try to take care of you. Sorry. I feel bad for you guys and gals who really need your meds. But I can only do so much with the amount of help my employer gives me. I can't spend my whole day being a deputy Sheriff narcotics investigator. My advice to patients with real pain manangement needs, see an established family practice, orthopaedic, cancer dr, whatever. Establish a relationship with a pharmacy. Perhaps your dr's office can help you with that. Stay in your home town. And lobby your state representative to do something about the drug dealers, doctors included, who are poising the system. I've seen plenty of patients get their pain meds without having to go to a south FL pain clinic. So I know it can be done.

I'm checking to see if you have blues and z-bars in stock". And if you can't say "oxycodone" without a drug-induced stupor and slur, you're odds are pretty low as well. You can't make this stuff up.
