Which brand of generic Oxycodone is best?

I always end up running out of my roxies early and having to fill my methadones and take them for like the last 10 days so i dont get dopesick. if he would only give me what i wanted and listen to me that i am afraid of methadone after watching (not literally) several friends die from it and xanax just this year, all he does is increase it. Once i can afford a new doc im ditching this nutcase. Also, are the generic msir expensive?

ps- i have injected roxies, and snorted them, because they dont always work, and when youre in chronic pain youll find yourself willing to try things u never dreamed of to stop the pain, thaty DOES NOT MAKE YOU A JUNKIE OR A "HIGH SEEKER". I RESENT THAT COMMENT A FEW UP, written by someone who has no idea what pain really is. A true pain sufferer will go to great lengths to escape from their daily agony. I condone noone for their actions and miss my old doc who lost her license b/c she forgot to renew it. You could just be honest with her and tell her what you were gonna and not gonna take and shed write you what you wanted. Thats a good doc/pt relationship. Also this doc i have (im 57 and weigh 138) weighs me every month and if i dont lose 2 pounds a month, he takes away 5 of my roxies. Being sick is enough pressure, thank you. I'm in the Tampa area so if anyone can recommend a good doc, please help out. Thanks everyone.

And yes I know that oxycodone that is extended release is called Oxycontin, which is only a marketing name like Roxicodone. I don't take oxycodone/apap...that is called Percocet and is much weaker than 30mg of oxycodone HCL with no apap which is Tylenol. I broke my back in 3 places and fractured my neck. I am on the Fentanyl patch 75mcg/hr X 2/48hrs, 30mg of Roxicodone, and 30mg of MSIR, which is known as Morphine Sulfate Immediate Release.

I'm not sure which co. are still making it Amide went out of business.Ethex is making one now.It's not blue though.

I totally agree with you, I have had pain so severe that I would have almost eaten a dog turd if I thought it would help, you live in Tampa, right? There are some really good DR's in Ft. Laurderdale. I was prescribed Methadone for 4 years, started being prescribed it when I was 17 and was prescribed it until I was 21, for chronic back pain, and I found that it didnt help my pain all that well, and when I decided to take MYSELF off it, I was in the bed for 2 weeks so sick I didnt think I could go on living, plus, I kept diarrhea for 6 months, literally. So some advice to you, if you can stay away from methadone, I would recomend it. I would rather have the roxy's for the pain anyway.

ya they gel up its made that way so u cant shoot it up, u can still snort but it will gel up in nose, but seems to still have an effect, nothing is as good as the real Oxycontin though. they had to make em with the gel up factor so they wouldnt get sued by perdue pharma for making the same thing. instead of being 100% opiate they r like 95% opiate and 5% crap

Mallinckrodt was allowd to make generic oxy in late september, found this out yesterday

(it was stopped for a few months, purdue just recently started allowing mallinckrodt to start producing them again...malilinckrodt is the only compnay that can do it too, as per what someone told me from purdue pharma)

Yes there still are real ones made by Roxane lab.But they are like 800 bucks to fill 240 of em and the doctor must write medically necesary on the script.

your all nuts...take as prescribed. crushing and snorting is for cocaine.if you really want a buzz take 4 30mg oxycontins and the buzz will last 6-8 hours as opposed to 1/2 hr snorting.

mallincrot sucks ethex xanodyne is thee very best for the roxicodone that is 15 30mg oxycodone hci no tylenol,the 10 325's are percosets with tylenol endo is thee best again mallincrot is thee worst never for any med there is a big return doctor pharacists kickback with mallincrot,so most all your pharmacist try to push them tell them to order what you want and make sure to have them next time or go elsewhere,im gonna try to download a very nice pricelist ill give it a shot,not very computery.im in michigan

roxane is not brand name roxicodone xanodyne is.in the 15 ir 30 ir.the best out there for a 100 30's is $250.00

i use generic ethex and mallinkrodt .5mg....ive also used percocet brand.........and i had used with and without apap but prefer w/o for obvios reasons.........i prefer aspirin or aleve for inflammation issues anyways

i had no problem with either.......and my mom uses both too no problems......i know some chick that uses them 3-4 times a week and no problem..........but i notice the heavier users and peeps who been on for a long time and the high chasers are the ones who say generic sucks..........trust me there are hoardes of us out there that will attest to them being all the same to us

I live in the South Jersey/Philly area and I went to my Doctor today and got my monthly script of 30mg Oxycodone and now I can't get it filled anywhere. I drove around for 4 hours going to every pharmacy along the way. Nobody has them in stock and even said that they are not expecting to get them anytime soon. They all said that they are on back order. One lady even told me that the manufacturer was having some sort of problems, but didn't elaborate. I get these every 30 days for a few years now and have never had a problem getting them filled, I tried CVS, Rite Aid, Walgreens, and every other place, even little mom & pop type pharms and they are all out of them. Has any else run into this problem ? What are my options ? The only thing I can think of is to go back to the Doctor and explain what happened and perhaps they will write me a script for something similar, but what would be similar to 30 mg Oxycodone. I know about 40mg oxycontins BUT I can't afford them because I don't have insurance. I usually pay around $200 to $250 dollars for 120 of the 30 mg oxycodone. Any ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
